SpringHill Suites Colorado Springs South

Nice hotel in south part of Colorado Springs. Very nice and clean hotel. Stuffs are very helpful and their services also outstanding. Only issue I had, the hotel internet connection(wifi) was not working but still giving it high ratings because their service was great, well minus one for fewer breakfast items.

The Good: Room was spacious and comfortable bedding. Plenty of parking but isn’t free. Indoor pool and gym. Good selection of breakfast options and the ladies working there were very friendly and welcoming. Bathroom has split option with the sink separated from the shower. Property was renovated a couple of weeks ago. The Bad: No EV charger in the property. The TV stand in our room was tilted and we were afraid it would fall off. Parking fees. No evening happy hour.

Several issues with this stay. I made a reservation online to stay June 20-23,2025. I was running late on June 20th so I called the hotel about 6pm and they assured me that they had my reservation and a room, and they would save it for me. I told them I would arrive around midnight; they said no problem they would make a note on my reservation and save my room. I arrived with my family about 12:30am and they said they had too many people come in, so they gave my room away. I could call back the next day and they should have a room for me. So, I called the next day about 1pm and they said that they had a room, but I had to go get it right then or it would be gone. I told them that I had a reservation, and they told me that since I booked the hotel online, they would not honor the reservation. We got the room and checked in. My granddaughter wanted to go swimming, so we went down to their pool, and it was filthy. The pool filter and circulation system had been turned off or was not working. We found trash at the bottom of the pool and ants in the pool. The next morning, we got up about 8am on a Sunday and went down to get some breakfast. The food was already gone along with no juice and coffee. The grounds were very overgrown with some weeds over 2feet tall. If you stay here, you can expect them to not honor reservations, the breakfast to be gone within the first hour, the pool to be very dirty, and some of the desk people to be rude.

12, thought this was a great place starting out. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff seemed very kind. I checked out after 3 days. On the day checked A . out,Irealized1forgot my phone charger in the room and I called them. At first they said they had it and would hold it for my daughter o pick up. Th They called a bit later and claimed it belonged to a staff person. The staff member said he vould check with housekeeping and also the room and call me back. He never called back. The General Manager sent me an email saying she was sorry it was gone due to my forgetfulliness!- Obviously, one of her staff members took it, but I guess she tan't admit it. Don't trust the people here. No integrity, respect br morals.
