Our stay at the Holden House was a wonderful experience. We were celebrating our 47th anniversary and were in COS to attend an Air Force Academy event. We're usually Hilton or Marriott people (lots of points from too many TDYs), but thought we'd try a B&B on our anniversary. Despite the vintage nature of the buildings, the accommodations were current, comfortable, and well equipped (i.e., nice shower). I knew it was a great decision when my wife said she felt like she was in a Hallmark movie. The staff was welcoming and wonderful. The evening wine was good (we're California wine snobs) and the breakfast in the morning was perfectly delicious. We will definitely be back!

Had a very comfortable stay at the Holden House! The house is charming and decorated/furnished with so many wonderful family antiques. The bedroom and common area were clean and comfortable. The staff were all pleasant and made the stay fun. We would definitely return in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Pikes Peak room. Our own little apartment just for us. Comfortable bed and everything was spotless.Very quiet area close to Old Colorado City and other areas we wanted to visit .All the hostesses made us feel welcome and at home.Breakfast served promptly at your choice of 8:00 or 9:00 so you could start you day earlier or sleep in. After a day of sightseeing, the wine and snacks in the afternoon was enjoyable before going out to eat.

My wife and I stayed at Holden House 1902 May 29-June 3. From the moment we arrived it was evident that Sallie’s top priority was the welcoming comfort of her guests. We stayed in the immaculate Pikes Peak Suite, with its wonderful balcony overlooking a beautiful neighborhood on Pikes Peak Avenue. Each morning and afternoon we were greeted with wonderful hostesses, Brooke, Heather, Kory, and Robin, who were not only cheerful but also so attentive! We arrived as guests and felt we left as friends. Thanks to each of you for our wonderful stay and we miss all of you!

Five nights of bliss! Better than five star service and a fabulous breakfast every morning. Holden House is in 3 Victorian styled quaint homes with antiques, in a quaint, well located neighborhood in Colorado Springs. If you don’t stay here, you are backing up! Al Peterson

If you are on the fence about staying here, don’t be. Book it; you won’t regret it. We stayed two nights in the Cripple Creek room. The whole house is lovely. BUT the breakfasts are the pièce de résistance. I’m still talking about the breakfasts almost a week later. We stayed 2 nights at the Broadmoor, followed by 2 nights at Holden House. While the Broadmoor is extravagant and all you could want in a 5-star hotel, Holden House has our heart. Every member of the staff was exceptional and clearly had our comfort as their foremost goal. I hope that my travels take me to Colorado Springs again sometime so I can stay there again.
