Super 8 by Wyndham Latham/Albany Airport

Location gets higher marks because it was 10 minutes away from where I was going. "Breakfast" consisted of some prepackaged small muffins; coffee was okay. Wasn't expecting a full sit down eggs/bacon, but I think a few Hostess muffins hardly constitutes "Breakfast". My main issue was the the Express Check-in. I did the whole pre-check in online to save time and avoid a whole lot of hassle as I was on a tight timeline before I was out the door to where I needed to be. Got confirmation that the pre-check in was completed. However, when I arrived the desk clerk gave me a check-in list to complete, even though it was already done. I informed her that I had already done this, and showed her the confirmation but evidently she didn't know where to look to find this information. So I wasted 10-15 minutes filling out the paperwork...AGAIN, and then waited for her to process my credit card, enter all the information in her computer, etc. I then made a mad dash to my room, had to change into another set of clothes, and then right back out the door to get to where I needed to be. What's the use of having Express Check-in if the staff don't know where to find it, or can't be bothered to look for it? It was a one night stay...thankfully, and nothing to give high marks about, especially the "breakfast included" which left a bad taste. But I do suggest the staff be thoroughly trained in all aspects of the check-in process, especially Express Check-in.

We usually stay at this hotel whenever we’re in town visiting family, and it’s always been such a pleasant experience—clean, cozy, and welcoming. On a recent trip, though, I accidentally left my tablet behind in the room. I didn’t realize until I was already home, so I gave the hotel a call, and to my relief, they had it! I worked out a plan with a family member to pick it up and mail it back to me. The staff was super understanding and helpful, and I really appreciated how they went out of their way to take care of my stuff. It’s so nice to know there are places that genuinely respect their guests. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Stayed here during our trip to Saratoga for the races. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the bathroom spotless. The staff was friendly and super helpful, especially since we're older and needed a little assistance. The only downside was the local ID requirement at check-in, which was a bit of a hassle and delayed us, but the staff handled it well. Overall, it was a solid, no-frills stay. Would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free spot!

I had a great time during my recent stay at Super 8 Latham. A seamless check-in was made possible by the welcoming and kind front desk staff. The manager particularly impressed me with how professionally she handled a challenging guest. Excellent customer service was genuinely displayed by the staff, and I hope that the younger team members pick up useful skills from this leadership. The bed gave me a good night's sleep, and my room was tidy and cozy. Our stay was further enhanced by the staff's assistance with restaurant recommendations and local directions. The experience was outstanding and very worth the cost. If I'm ever in the area, I will most certainly stay here again!

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The room decor and flooring were far above what I expected—inviting, clean, and well thought out. It definitely didn’t feel like your average budget hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There was a bit of noise from a neighboring room at one point, but to their credit, the staff handled it quickly and professionally. I ended up getting a good night’s sleep, which was exactly what I needed before my early morning flight. Also appreciated that Uber was easy to get from here in the early hours—made my airport trip smooth and stress-free. Overall, a great value for the price and I’d stay again!

The rooms were dirty, sheets had something on them. I wouldn’t recommend staying there. Didn’t sleep well at all I was worried my family would get sick or have bedbugs. Not a happy stay.
