Colombo Colombo 03 Hotels

Checked in early hours of the morning from the airport. Room was ready and clean with amenities prepared. Bottled water was included and breakfast supplied. Beautiful view of the ocean from the view but beware of the frequent beeping and noises from the trains that seem to start around 5am.

Booked it because it was the only hotel that had a bathtub in the area. It is not located on the beach, the beach is a free 10 min shuttle away. The pool is nice and big, the breakfast has a wide variety of food and is delicious, loved the tv speaker in the bathroom. Partial sea view is not very good. I feel like they put everyone on the same floor. Construction was happening outside but it couldn’t be heard in the room because of the sound proofing.

I had a wonderful stay at Amari Colombo Sri Lanka. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, with modern amenities that made everything convenient. The location was excellent, close to everything we needed. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Facilities such as the pool and dining options were fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the food. Overall, a perfect experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Colombo.

Fabulous hotel with rooftop pool. Room was huge and had great comfortable king bed. Floor to ceiling windows gave amazing views. Staff were excellent. Walkable to temple and lake. Breakfast had a tremendous variety but a bit chaotic.

This hotel is located in an area with plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff is quite polite, helpful and friendly with a big smile on their faces. The rooms and bathrooms are pretty clean, with a nice size and no noise. The views are nice as well. Air-conditioning wroks properly. We took one hour from the airport. We have decided to come back to our last night in Sri Lanka.

Great rooftop pool, even with construction happening in the view. The food was good, but we were surprised to find out that it was a dry hotel - no alcohol. Should be said in the listing. We loved the location and the room was very nice.

Everything else is okay, there is no hot water, although it has been 20-30° recently, but I arrived at the hotel at night, it is not too much to take a hot bath, and there is no hot water for half an hour.

My family and I checked in to the Cinnamon Grand of Colombo,Sri Lanka. It is a hotel centrally located near shopping and dining areas. We have always liked the food at the Cinnamon Grand and the little shopping mall, a short, covered walk from the hotel. Check-in at the Cinnamon Grand is not too complex. The elevators are not as slow as Bangkok or Las Vegas. The hotel rooms have enough room and amenities. Although my wife and I were overcome with a damp and musty smell. Given the age of the hotel and the humidity in Colombo, I can see there is not enough ventilation to air out the hotel rooms.

Facility location service was all good. Food is also delicious. Near to a local rail station, if u want to take a train ride beside sea for fun. At the opposite side of the hotel you will get the local food, super shop, mall and bus stand.

Overall a good 4 star hotels in an excellent location. We stayed for 3 nights during the busy Christmas period. Excellent buffet breakfast and rooftop view. Common areas could be cleaner such as the elevator which needs a good wipe down which was full of prints and scuff marks. The staff were the highlight with excellent service.
