Una struttura magnifica e ricca di storia retaggio dell’architettura coloniale dello Sri Lanka, situata in un quartiere di pregio di Colombo. La villa ha ospitato cinque generazioni di una famiglia originaria di Manipay ed è piena di foto e di oggetti che ne tengono vivo il ricordo. Vi abbiamo soggiornato due volte nel corso della nostra vacanza in Sri Lanka e siamo rimasti favorevolmente colpiti dalla gentilezza e disponibilità di tutte le persone che lavorano nella struttura. Sicuramente una validissima alternativa ad alberghi di catena che difficilmente ti fanno sentire la sensazione di stare a casa. Nel porgere un caloroso saluto a tutto il personale che ci ha assistito, speriamo vivamente di potervi ancora soggiornare. Francesco e famiglia

Maniumpathy is set out in a well preserved mansion. It gave us a wonderful ambiance that added to a great time spent together with family. The food was scrumptious and enjoyed by all. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and service oriented.

Pequeño hotel situado cerca de una de las zonas medievales de la ciudad. Buen trato por parte del personal, habitaciones espaciosas y un cuarto de baño enorme con cuatro ambientes distintos. Las camas son muy cómodas. El restaurante, donde se sirven desayuno y comidas, es a la carta, y está bastante bien. De hecho, la sopa de setas y las costillas de cerdo están muy buenas. También tiene una pequeña piscina que sirve para refrescarse un poco después de explorar la ciudad.

Brilliant location for fine dining in Colombo. The staff is very customer-oriented and ablidging. Would definitely recommend their Jaffna cuisine. I can vouch that Maniumpathy Colombo is an Oasis of tranquility amid the hustle and bustle of the robust city.

A big thank you to Warren and his team for organising a fabulous dinner and celebration for my mother's 80th Birthday despite the short notice. Maniumpathy has one of the most soothing atmospheres for dining amid the rush in Colombo. The staff is well trained and is thoroughly customer orienteered. I highly recommend their Jaffna cuisine. I Can safely say that Maniumpathy is a fabulous vintage mansion where perfection and calm meet.

I am a Sri Lankan expat from US, fairly well travelled in this segment of Sri Lankan boutique hotels. This was however my first time staying at Maniumpathy, as I typically stay with family when I'm in Colombo. This heritage boutique hotel is everything it's touted to be and more. I stayed for 4 nights with my dad who is 92 yrs and we had the most peaceful stay with customer service of the highest caliber, second to none. We also took this opportunity to host friends and family for dinner on all 4 nights anywhere up to 12 people. The staff who was extremely friendly, yet very professional in every sense, helped us plan these dinners so that my dad & I had a novel experience with each dinner. Front desk receptionist Ms. Arjumath, our house keeper Arjana & our butler Sanath Kuruppu deserve special mention. They truly are great ambassadors for Maniumpathy. I should also mention Shannon & Koshitha, the on site mangement team who worked with me from before our arrival to make our stay extra special and accomadated a few special requests of ours. We definitely look forward to staying at Maniumpathy during my future visits back home.

Maniumpathy is a lovely hotel and I highly recommend staying here. During breakfast I was trying to think of the best word to describe it - paradise (the earthly and ancient definition) seems most fitting. From the moment I arrived, after midnight, I was taken care of like a special guest, or a family member who had recently returned from a long stay away. I am thankful to Kuruppu who welcomed me and anticipated my every need and to Upul who took over and helped me learn more about the family and the property. Arjumath was so helpful, answering all of my (many) questions and arranging a tour of the city with a local tuk tuk driver. Kositha, the manager, is dedicated to making sure that every guest has the most pleasurable and comfortable experience. And Isuru helped make sure I felt welcome and cared for. I highly recommend a massage! Highly!! I have had many great massages but this massage from Rohana was probably the best!! The deep tissue massage was my selection and worth each of the 90 minutes!! Afterwards, I sat glowing as I sipped my herbal tea. Thank you to everyone.
