Plus:
Location: it is really close to cologne station
View: it is great view where you could Rhine river at sunrise it is golden and it is beautiful
Amenities : everything is comfortable. I love the fact they provide carbonated water and can opener for the bottled water. It is small details like that which differs between great and marvelous.
Hospitality: I was really tired when I arrived and the front desk understand my exhaustion. I appreciate that.

- Location is very convenient
- Use a key to enter the room and cannot lock from inside
- Walls are a little thin, I could hear some noise from the next room

I don't know what's wrong with the male front desk clerk. I've read other comments before, and it seems that he has some opinions about Asians? At least I've experienced that from him. There's also an Asian-looking girl at the front desk, who provides very good service and has a cheerful personality. The male clerk is as listless as if he had eaten a dead rat, and he doesn't seem to like his job. I suggest that if Asians run into this male front desk clerk, avoid him immediately.

The hotel located just right beside the train station. The room was ok but the bathroom stinks. We stayed one night together with my family from Malaysia and my newly wedded German husband. Maybe because of security concerns, the night shift receptionist was asking my husband to tell him our room number, booking under whose name and show him the room key after he went down to smoke outside the hotel. My husband felt uncomfortable by the way he questioned.
