Stayed here for two nights, one week apart as we were forced to overnight stop to catch connecting flights. Yes, it is basic but it was clean, warm and well decorated. The owner was welcoming and very helpful, advising us to book a taxi back to T5 for the following morning as it was the same price as the bus. I initially made an error on the second booking, requesting the wrong night and it was quickly rectified with no penalty. I would be more than happy to stay here again.

We had a 24 hour layover in London and instead of picking a boring hotel near the airport, we found this place. If you like history, something different, but still want a very comfortable stay- hands down pick here! The staff here are phenomenal- everyone was SO nice! It was such a cozy place to eat, drink and sleep for the night. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff we met (and the ones we didn't, only spoke by email) but they are all so nice!!!! :) They helped us out any chance they had, which is so appreciated. My family had a wonderful and restful layover before going back over the pond- it's a nice place to stay, that is for sure.

Upon arriving at the hotel i was quickly checked in and upgraded to a better room on a high floor with a view. The hotel is located on London Road and there are regular buses to and from Heathrow airport. I have also have full buffet breakfast included in my booking and there is a bar and restaurant in the hotel. Great value for money and convenient location for Heathrow airport.

I really got screwed with this booking. My flight was canceled, and I was a bit desperate for a place to stay overnight. ”Bianca's Hotel” was quite a bit cheaper than the places closer to the airport. So I booked it and took a taxi there. But the taxi driver couldn't find the place. We were in a residential neighborhood, not anywhere that you might expect to find a hotel. So I called the property, and the guy told me to get out at #1 Torridge Road and walk to #19, which seemed really weird. I asked him if there was a sign, and he said no. I mean, what kind of a hotel requires that you walk down a dark residential street looking for a place with no sign? When I said that I wasn't comfortable doing that, he suggested that I just cancel, and mentioned that he could get 500 GPB for the room (I had paid ~200). I was pretty sketched out at this point, so I just cancelled and went back to the airport. Later on, I tried to get a refund, and he refused. He also blocked my calls and marked me as a no-show. So now I'm out the 200 GBP for this ”hotel” plus the 60 GBP for the taxi there and back. And after all of that, I ended up just staying overnight at the airport. This place seems really scammy.

I stayed here for the 11 nights quarantine when returning to the UK from working overseas, the hotel side of things was pretty good however the security team were completely abysmal, they turned this stay into a miserable experience. My impression was that the hotel management had sat down and thought about what they could do to make the stay as good as they could. The check-in was quick and efficient, and I was given menus to choose food from for each of the days I was staying. The room was provided with a set of plates/bowl and metal cutlery (the food was delivered in takeaway containers with plastic utensils, so this was a nice touch), washing-up liquid and a dishcloth, full-size shampoo and shower gel, plenty of towels, hand sanitiser and wet wipes. There was a kettle, tea/coffee, small fridge and a good TV, and at check-in I was told that I could get deliveries made to the hotel (from local supermarkets, Deliveroo, Amazon, etc.) and they would bring these straight to the room for me, which they did. The food was good, and there was more than I could eat each day. The breakfasts were unfortunately quite repetitive and instead of toast there was warm soggy bread (I think this had been microwaved?). Every few days there was a small carton of milk with the breakfast, for making tea/coffee with. Lunch and dinner were good, and there was always plenty of extras to set aside for snacking on later. The hotel staff would also call regularly to check if everything was okay, and to ask if I needed anything else brought up to the room, this was a nice gesture. The quarantine package included 7 small items of clothing to be washed which was good. The 2 PCR test kits (on days 2 & 8) were delivered, collected, and the results checked by a friendly guy (I didn’t get his name) who was very polite and helpful with these. The security guards in the corridors were really, really noisy (through the days and the nights), and didn’t make any effort whatsoever to be quiet or to keep the noise down – out of the 11 night stay I was woken almost every night by them (it’s worth mentioning here that I’m more than 50% deaf); overnight they would gather together and talk very loudly, keep their radios turned up to full volume all night (I was able to hear both sides of every conversation most of the time, shouldn’t security guards be using radios with earpieces, so that ‘security’ conversations are kept secure?), they would play music on their phones in the middle of the night, and they would walk up and down the corridor throughout the night talking loudly on their mobile phones. The rooms have basically no soundproofing from the corridors, in the daytime this isn’t so much of a problem, at night it wouldn’t normally be, but with the security guards stationed there permanently (and making lots of noise permanently) this was a really major problem. I do of course understand why the guards are there, however there was also more than once when I saw the security guards

We chose to stay in Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 was primarily for convenience as we had a flight the following morning. There was some up and down mainly due to initial impression from front desk (very rude and unhelpful). Pro's - Clean room - Spacious - Bed was confortable - Decent view - Assisted with printing off paper work for our flight - Shuttle to airport is available* Con's - Front desk was very unwelcoming and rude (had issue with checking in, due to some issue with C-Trips representative payment not working; though we paid and secured room via C-Trip several day before which included an invoice and email confirmation; Front desk did not help and didnt want to assist ”deal with it yourself” attitude)＞ very distressing as we potentially had to pay again for the room (making us pay twice). - Hourly airport shuttle available but had to pay (should have inform guest, rather than finding out when we got onto the shuttle bus and catching us by surprise, as we would have rather booked a taxi) - Abit secluded

What a shocking experience! We had a late flight in from Heathrow and so this room was booked on our behalf. The room itself seems passable on arrival but then the drama unfolded. The room was hot yet if one opened a window the noise emanating from outside was unbearable. Throughout the night an electric noise (washing machine?) emanated through the room continuously. The smell was overpowering - the fridge provided had not been opened or plugged in for ages. Of the 4 plugpoints in the room one had been boarded up, the second had a television and kettle plugged in, the third was loose in the wall and the switch didn't work rendering one in working order. The bathroom was tiny as well as dirty, the door couldn't close properly as the door frame was broken. The shower had no drain cover and a smell was emanating from there. The toilet had no flusher, we had to insert our fingers into the hole to press a pin!The restaurant was closing as we arrived and no assistance was provided in terms of where we could get a late night meal. All in all a dreadful experience, one which will not happen again. Sleeping at the airport would have been more preferable.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at London Heathrow Guesthouse in Slough. The room was absolutely disgusting. Arrived late with 2 children so decided to stay rather than look for an alternative at that time of night. Slept on a towel I’d brought rather than the horrible bedsheets. My daughter slept on my coat. Couldn’t use the shower as I would have been dirtier when I got out than when I got in. The other room my friend stayed in was even worse. Didn’t return the following evening & eventually managed to book alternative accommodation that was clean. Tried to get a refund for the unused night. Hotels simply not interested & now not responding. Told them I wouldn’t be returning that night because of the state of the room. Refused a refund due to the “terms & conditions”. Room was cancelled before I left & cancelled because of dirty & damp conditions. Hotel claiming it wasn’t cancelled. Avoid at all costs.
