The hotel is located in the center of the town. The whole town is a bit historical and has a fairy-tale atmosphere. The buildings are relatively old. The interior walls of the hotel have been renovated, but it is difficult to hide some traces of time. The rooms are relatively large and the breakfast is average.
There is one thing I cannot accept, the price is quite expensive. We went to many places during the trip, but this place was exceptionally expensive. Is it because of the Chinese restaurant?

We stayed here for three nights as part of a Rick Steves tour. Our room (116) was a lovely space for an extended stay. We had clean wooden floors, a small table and chairs, a desk, a large comfortable bed, an armoire with shelf storage, a clean bathroom with shower and heated towel rack and a separate toilet room. There is a lovely breakfast room with a wide assortment of cheeses and pastries. There was a little device available if you wanted to boil your own eggs and there were also cold hardboiled eggs available. Pots of coffee or tea were brought to the table and the attentive service meant they were refilled as often as needed. We were initially disappointed to find out that our tour group was not staying at the St. Martin. As it turns out, this hotel has a much superior location to the St. Martin.On a quiet side street, it is only two blocks from the "main square", but is not right on top of the action like the St. Martin is. The staff was all topnotch from the desk staff to the breakfast crew to the housekeeping folks. We would definitely stay here again!

I liked the hotel because it was in the old town and close to all restaurants and attractions and the staff were very nice and friendly, always ready to help.
Also it was a very short walk from train stations.
Overall it was a great hotel.

Absolut perfekte Lage in den Gässchen von Colmar kurz vor dem Zentrum. Sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer. Das Personal ist 1a! Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Speiserestaurant der Extraklasse gehört zum Hotelkomplex.

C'est la seconde fois que nous fêtons le nouvel an au Rapp à Colmar. L'accueil y est toujours aussi agréable, le personnel charmant et compétent. Le menu du réveillon était parfait. À faire et à refaire en venant encore plus tôt pour profiter plus longuement des marchés de Noël. Je recommande!!!

Le Rapp is a great hotel centrally located in Colmar in historic old town center. We paid for the standard room with a large bed for 80 euros a night and stayed on the top floor. While not inexpensive, the room was very large, especially for european hotel standards. The room was newly renovated, had air conditioning, and was extremely clean and well maintained. The one downside of the room is that there was only one small window. The bathroom did not have a bathtub, but had a hairdryer, and bath robes. Everyone in the hotel speaks English, though French (or German) is of course welcomed. There is free high speed internet access in the lobby with printing, faxing, and copying capability. There is no parking, but there is street parking and a garage across the street. Also, we had a fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant, which serves some Alsacian favorites. In general, we had a great stay at the hotel.

Je suis allée au Rapp avec 3 copines et nous avons adorés! D’abord, on a été surclassées. Le personnel était très accueillant et très arrangeant. Fêtant les 30ans d’une amie, ils nous ont conservées le gâteau au frais puis nous ont fournies la vaisselle pour qu’on puisse le manger en chambre. Le SPA était très agréable, piscine, hammam, sauna et fontaine à glace. La situation de l’hôtel est pratique: en plein centre de Colmar. Je ne connaissais pas le Rapp mais ça a été une bonne surprise !!!!
