Cleanliness & Comfort: Most reviews emphasized the room’s cleanliness, comfortable beds, and quiet environment. Some praised the availability of a full kitchen, living area, and separate bedrooms.

In May, my wife reserved a room (through Tripadvisor) for a late-July visit to tour A&M with our son. Or so she thought. With our visit approaching, she realized she couldn't find an e-mail confirming our stay. She scoured her inbox for an e-mail from Tripadvisor or a hotel (had looked at several at the time were planning multiple college visits). Couldn't find anything, maybe it was lost in Spam? No bookings showing up when logged into Tripadvisor. The day before our trip, having received no confirmation or reminder communication at all, we feared she must not have made a reservation after all and made a last minute booking at another hotel. The next day (day of travel and our reservation), a little after 1:00pm, Vineyard Court calls my wife (who had to work and was unable to accompany my son and I) to confirm her credit card information. My wife explains the situation and says we no longer need the room. She's informed that we're beyond the cancellation window and we'll be charged for the room in either case. Wife tries to plead her case (while working) and says she never received a confirmation or reminder e-mail. Vineyard Court then sent her an e-mail, charged her card and offered a 30% discount on a future visit as a concession. I called Vineyard Court later that afternoon (my son and I had already checked into the other hotel) and spoke to Stephanie (who was delightful) who took some notes and said she would relay them to a manager who could help me the next morning. The next day I spoke with manager Victoria. Credit to Victoria for being very firm and unrelenting in her unwillingness to reverse the charge or to alter their cancellation policy (they actually have two cancellation policies, a 30-day and a 3-day policy) even though no services were rendered. Victoria informed me that Vineyard Court does not provide direct correspondence with the end-customer when rooms are booked through third parties (Tripadvisor in this case) and no confirmation or reminder e-mails are sent because they do not want to "clog up an Inbox" (she repeated this phrase twice). Yet she also concedes that Vineyard Court actually initiated contact by calling my wife when they were going to charge her CC (past the cancellation window) and were conveniently able to send her a confirmation e-mail after she said she had never received one. This is duplicitous behavior, and based on my conversation with management (her pre-canned language and, yes, her tone) made me think this is not the first time this has come up. The "no communication" with the end-customer excuse is a ruse and a questionable business practice, at best. Don't want to clog up an Inbox?! They were really determined to get that ninety-seven dollars and twenty-three cents (from a family trying to put the first of three kids through college). That's a short-sighted policy, and we'll certainly be bringing future visits to a different hotel.

Not ideal The room was tiny. The "living room" was not comfortable to just sit and hang out for the 3 of us traveling. The fridge was missing the handle, the cheap coffee maker had burned on gunk. All the cups in the cupboard needed to be washed. There were multiple roaches in the kitchen area. The pull out bed was nothing more than a 2 inch thick foam mattress with stains all over it. I will say the AC worked amazing and loved that the rooms had ceiling fans. The water pressure in the shower was amazing as well. Overall it was a place to sleep and convenient location but wouldn't stay there again.
