The hotel is not well cared for. The first floor smelled like a nursing home. My room was on the second floor. The room smelled like mold and the wallpaper was bubbling and peeling off the walls. The bathroom had visible mold around the sink and shower areas, and there was a dead roach on the counter. I was supposed to stay three nights and asked to check out early after the first night.

Should not be called a Hampton Inn! We’ve have come to respect the Hampton Inn brand and this location should be closed/demolished/built back. Room 224 10/12/24 Pros (only one) - very close to the college Cons - 1. Everything was damp. Floors, sheets, pillows. A/C worked but it was so humid throughout the hotel. 2. Smell - its was a dank odor thats hard to describe. They tried to cover it up (unsuccessfully) with Frebreeze (picture of empty can to follow). 3. Didnt realize it when we got into the room the night before, but there was no shower curtain! Figured that out around 5:30am when i woke up. Took a shower anyways! Told the front desk guy at 6:15am and he looked puzzled. Told him to just please get me a shower curtain. Returned to the room at 2pm after a full morning of coaching softball at the Aggieland Classic. Still no shower curtain! 4. Mattresses have springs that you see through the dirty sheets. Have to be 10+ years old. 5. Not a big deal but the toilet paper roller was non-existent (picture to follow) 6. Not sure why but the have blue Cat5 cables running exposed throughout the complex…no big deal but just looks trashy. 7. Last but not least…dirty sheets! I hope it was just mud, but who knows. This place should be relabelled as a Knights Inn or Motel 6 because they are bringing down the brand!!

This is by far the worst Hampton I’ve stayed at. Front desk wasn’t welcoming in the least. Side door was broken, so you needed to either enter from the front or all the way to the back. Two elevators (very dirty) whose number lights and buttons didn’t light up. One of the doors closed with a sound that made me nervous to ride on. Hallways were dingy and stained. There were cables zip tied to the ceilings that ran the full length of the hallways. Doors and walls were scratched and beat up. Pool was being remodeled and unavailable. The door to our room had obviously seen a pry bar more than once. Room was dirty and spots hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Mold and dirt/rust on the ceiling. Mold in the shower. Tiles missing. Seriously, stay across the street at the Embassy. This place doesn’t deserve to even be a Hampton

Booked this hotel as one of limited hotels available for the USATF Jr Olympics and my son qualified 2 week previously. Have Hilton Gold Status. Checked in ahead of time on the app as I was prompted to do. We arrived at 3:30pm and was told room wasn't available, but they could get me a similar room. Room had a dirty towel from previous guest and was small. 2 double beds and the bed/mattress near the window was terribly uncomfortable and clearly broken. AC/Heating unit was caked with mold/dust, see picture. Food at breakfast was unappetizing and inedible. No fruit offered, very limited options, eggs sitting in a puddle of liquid. Room was over $300/night due to demand, deeply disappointed. Hallways were dirty with dirt all over the rugs. Everything was old and in need of work/attention. Paint peeling throughout. Hilton may have forgotten they own this sad property.

I am a 2,000,000 mile Hilton Honors Diamond member. I had a reservation for $82 the Saturday night that George Strait played in town. The day of the concert, they called me and said they were overbooked and cancelled my reservation. Five minutes later there was the same room type available on Kayak for $895. Obviously I screenshotted the new listing. HHonors has bent over backwards to make it up to me, but I just wanted others to know better than to give this hotel any business.

Hotel needs serious maintenance. Worn carpets. Wall coverings coming down. Flaky paint in stairwell to rear parking. No blackout curtains on window made sleeping difficult due to the bright lights outside all night. Staff was friendly and helpful but the facility was sub-par. Plus, they changed the room rate every night! No, I would definitely not stay here again.

We stay here for 3 days. The hotel has some good staff. Great gentleman that helped us upon checking in. The next day he was able to give us some great place to eat. But on the afternoon the lady at the front desk had a terrible attitude and talks very ghetto. Nose rings and loud talking so unprofessional. I asked her to help with getting me another room key. She ask me what happened to my key and I needed to be more responsible. I did not ask for her opinion. The breakfast person had a very bad attitude and was disrespectful to other employees. Not a classy place and surely not a Hilton brand.

This hotel is in need of a serious deep cleaning and renovation. Hilton, you can do better than this!! The carpets, lobby, hallway - everything about this property shows that it is old and needs a serious refreshing. With a property in such a busy college town, the updates that you could make would recovered in a few months.
