We very much enjoyed our stay, and I must say the staff is very friendly and helpful. For instance, I asked at the desk for ice and the lady went out of her way to find a bag for me free of charge. Only minor exceptions. They give you a gift card at check in that reads for 'One free cocktail' but the lady that runs the bar refused it and told my wife that is for 'the juice that goes in the cocktail, not for the cocktail'. The next day I asked the bar lady for a bottle of water so I could make ice. (The desalinated tap water is ok to drink but not the best). She gave me the more expensive brand bottle and charged me $10. The bar is owned by her, not the hotel. She was an unpleasant person. But the other bartender employee and restaurant staff were very nice. It would be a much better experience if they would just get rid of that bar owner/manager. Great location. Orient Beach currently was full of Sargassum **** but a short drive to other beaches which had none. We found renting a car was best and the cost is less than the taxi ride from SXM so it pays for itself in that sense and you can explore every place..

L’hôtel est calme et bien renové . J’ai apprécié les chambres spacieuses, le petit déjeuner et la proximité de la très belle plage d’orient baie. Le personnel est agréable. Il manquerait un totebag à l’arrivée pour permettre de transporter les serviettes de plage gracieusement mises à disposition et une ouverture du bar plus tôt dans l’après-midi. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui alcuni giorni e siamo stati molto bene. Orient Bay è fantastica, Orient Beach un miraggio che si avvera e La Plantation un piacevolissimo luogo di soggiorno nel verde tropicale e con tutti i servizi. Ottimo e consigliato!

The hotel was wonderful! The pool area and restaurant had a great vibe and the food was great! The beach is literally a 5 minute walk and Orient Bay Beach was perfection. Waves, but not too rough. Beautiful turquoise water. The beach service was great as well! La Plantation has an arrangement with a beach club, so chairs and umbrellas were included with the hotel stay. The staff were all so friendly. Our room, a master suite with a sea view, was spectacular. Large room, large bathroom. We loved it. Will definitely be back! Renting a car is definitely a plus and I hightly recommend doing so. It's a quick 10-15 minute drive to a local supermarket, and to Grand Case which has great restaurants and shops.

We are return visitors to La Plantation. We love the spacious jr suite with ocean view. The property is low rise and spread over several acres. We walk to the beach, to breakfast and to the Village. We do not find we need a car. You can ferry to St Barthes, take a catamaran snorkeling trip, or shop in Fredrickberg. Wonderful property!

Un très bel hôtel pratique proche des plages
Excellent séjour dans ce bel hôtel.
Nous avons été surclassés suite à un souci de climatisation dans notre chambre. Très rapidement et avec un grand respect
