First time at this hotel and ended up missing the turning and going down the A120. Added 30 minutes to my journey. However the hotel is very nice and the staff were friendly and the room was clean. Help yourself breakfast and you need to ask for eggs that are not scrambled.

Hotel is in good location and reasonably priced with plenty of parking. Really lovely receptionist, Kelly. Room ok but let down by some high up cobwebs and damp patch in corner perhaps because the extractor in bathroom wasn’t working? Towels and bedding were lovely and clean. Whole experience was let down by breakfast. Sunday morning and with an almost full hotel, we came down for breakfast about 9. There was literally nothing available…. No milk, bread, juice, plates, cups, hot food and dirty tables. One member of staff trying her best to replenish everything and clear tables. She was lovely but nearly at her wits end trying to do everything and obviously feeling overwhelmed. This is a theme throughout previous reviews so come on Surya Hotels, listen to what customers are saying and improve / increase staffing at peak times and value your staff! They are the best thing about your hotel!!
