From the outside to the bar and restaurant it looks lovely but the room was a disappointment! The rooms are very gloomy! Our room was filthy! Cobwebs around the window, stains on the walls, dirty cups on tray, thick build up of dust around the edges of the carpet and skirting boards. The breakfast was awful, the staff! Not the most friendly! The little girl on the breakfast shift was awful, huffed and puffed at my husband when he went for breakfast within the allocated time to find there was nothing left and asked her if he could get some breakfast we had already paid for! My husband spoke to manager who agreed it wasn’t good enough but did nothing about it! Definitely will NOT be staying there again or any dragonfly hotel. Bury St Edmunds is the same just the receptionist are more rude!
