This appears to be a newer Hampton property based on the interior and exterior visual appearances. As an oasis between eastern Colorado and western Kansas, it serves as a decent place for a nights sleep. The actual property is located a mile away from any other commercial entity (restaurants, etc), so you arent within walking distance of anything, and the few places at the next exit are limited. The hotel is clean and has almost all amenities. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were a bit deflated. Our A/C unit sounded like an ice maker crushing ice every time it turned on throughout the night (we only had the thermostat set to 71F). When I discussed this with the front desk, the response was ”it is over worked.” Interesting.

Stayed here twice coming and going to Utah. Easy access from freeway. Ample parking. Restaurants, fast food places, gas stops close at hand. (We did not use the breakfast area in the hotel.) Pleasant staff. Our room turned out to be a handicapped room because we requested 2 queen beds and that was the only room available, which suited us fine. Large bathroom, plenty of space to spread out open luggage, responsive temperature controls, quiet and clean. The television could be pulled from the wall and rotated for viewing from anywhere in the room, and our Amazon fire stick plugged in easily for streaming services.
