We spent 2 weeks (Nov/Dec 2024) at Alba Royal) Overall, it is a very nice hotel, in front of the beach Perfect cleaning, huge swimming pool, nice spa, good service, wide food variety, nice drinks. I recommend this place with no doubts and would gladly come back again 😊

Good - Beautiful place. Staff very helpful. Food is excellent and drinks! Fresh squeezed juice is great! Amazing beach with chairs and cold water in the fridge.
Bad - No air conditioning in the hotel hallways, except lobby. No bathroom in the lobby. Indoor pool closed. Smoking everywhere you go outside! Pool, cafe, anywhere outside! Not many options for non smokers! Not much entertainment at night. Most people speak German. Only one elevator on each side. Wifi is terrible! Paid for one day wifi, still the same problem! Over all nice hotel, not sure if I would give 5 stars?

Adult Hotel, geräumige Anlage.zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur eenige Gehminuten. Es gibt hier einen Indor Pool,Sauna, Dampfbad und. Whirlpool.. Hervorzuheben ist die vorbildliche behindertengerechte Hebeanlage für Rollstuhl Fahrer.Hotel liegt direkt am Strand,nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt.All incl.ist ok mit reichlicher Auswahl.

This hotel is most definitely not a 5 star hotel it is barely scraping a 4 star rating in my opinion. The grounds are vast and well kept but unfortunately wherever you are around the grounds and including the restaurant terraces you are forever engulfed in a puff of smoke. So if you think you wish to enjoy a lovely lunch or dinner outside think again. The WiFi is useless as if you want it in your room you have to pay for this service. The beds are very uncomfortable with wafer thin pillows, but of course at a cost you can make your preferred selection at a fee from the pillow menu. The Gym is very basic and equipment could do with an upgrade. If you use the Soa and buy a service be prepared to be hassled to buy more as they will insist. The greeting at reception on arrival is not what I would expect for a 4 or a 5 star hotel staff speak very little English and have no idea on how to address guests upon arrival unless they are German of course. Prior to my arrival I sent several emails with a special request all of which remained unanswered. If you have a late flight don’t even think of asking to pay for a late checkout I wax told by the receptionist in broken English to wait till my leaving day and ask again then. When I did after having been made to wait for a while and after she asked the Manager who was standing next to her, I was told that unfortunately there was no option of a late check out, would have been nice if the Manager himself had bothered to take the time to speak to me. Concluding it has taken me three visits to finally realise that I shall not be returning as I left totally exhausted and in need of another holiday to recover from this one.

Кошмарное обслуживание. Номер практически не убирается. Один раз за неделю удостоились кондиционера и лосьона для тела. В ресторане официант соизволит подойти только за чаевые. Отель со старым ремонтом. Ковровые дорожки на полу с заплатками. Номер в мансарде сильно напоминает гробик. За гроботерапию платить не придётся.

This hotel is lovely, rooms are cleaned daily, and all areas are well maintained. It seems to be a hotspot for German tourists, so English tourists are well outnumbered. We did meet one English couple the day after we arrived and then a few more couples/family a few days later. We did encounter a german group that basically drove us away from the table we had been sitting at around the pool bar one evening, but this was quickly picked up by a staff member who found us another table. The entertainment was a bit lacking, however we did enjoy the darts activity with Mali, quite the character and lovely ☺️ The selection of food was very good at all meals, and staff always at hand. The one point of contention is that there are definitely not enough "no smoking" tables outside !!! We tried the Turkish and Cuban A La Carte meals, which we really enjoyed, especially with the fact that Isa was serving at both, and was very attentive, ensuring we were happy with everything. The Internet was forever "dipping out," and it was annoying, to say the least, to have to pay for it in our rooms !!!! We had a very enjoyable stay at the Alba Royal
