Lovely friendly team welcome you here. Food was good, good value for money & tasty. Lovely setting & style - old building & the architecture isn't hidden away. Comfy bed & pillows. Rooms a little bit noisy from the bar below & the shower/bath combo was a bit of a faff due to leaky shower curtain. Overall not a bad place to stay & will return.

We had a family gathering here Mums 90th Birthday. The staff were lovely, nothing was too much to ask of them. Food was beautiful, right from the evening three course for 35 people to the morning breakfast. We stay away a fair bit and room 1 and 2 are right up there with the best. Ample outdoor seating for those who needed a quiet catchup. Easy parking for us all. I like high standards of service as does another in the party who ran their own restaurant, I'll definitely stop again when I'm in the area.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, so much history, the room was lovely with all requirements, and the food was excellent, fabulous choice of breakfast, and meals.The staff (particularly Logan GM), where so friendly, approachable, and professional , and all contributed to a lovely stay in a lovely town.Shall be looking forward to returning very soon.👍.

The hotel is lovely in a wonderful town. Really quiet at night! Food was delicious )(breakfastand dinner). Logan and his team are the BEST - so helpful and friendly. Good parking. We will go back, without hesitation.

Father's Day lunch was well served by pleasant staff and the food was good. The hotel was clean and tidy and well staffed - thank you.

Lovely food and the chef was incredibly accommodating very surprised by his steak cooking skills. I believe his name was Troy he’ll actually cook a steak how you order it. Food was top notch. Great service from a friendly fellow called Ollie very happy and personable. Tegan was also very helpful with additional questions. Very nice pub and restaurant.
