Had a freind from New Zealand visit , so we had a2 night stay , and various freinds out to visit . It was bad weather but we enjoyed lunch and pre drinks around the fire . Loved the fire pit when no rain and food was good

Service poor behind the bar and a bit slow at times Over priced considering no table service for drinks or cocktails as had to wait at bar for drinks Staff seemed a little over whelmed and stressed by the amount of people Food in restaurant was average and a bit overpriced. Breakfast was delicious and had a great range on offer ,staff were pleasant and helpful . Reception staff were exceptional on the Saturday and Sunday checking out. A very nice resort but the standard has gone down since last being there almost 12 months ago .

Not too happy with TV channels available but otherwise no complaints. We had issues with our heating which staff were very quick to try to rectify. We will definitely return again!

‘Sir, that will be $6 for the extra toilet paper and the clean towels; if you would prefer to wash them we have some detergent.” Management to me after 8 days here, in the same room with no room cleaning. And after forking $4k plus for the experience. Need a holiday? Go somewhere else. The local staff here are fabulous but Accor Hotels will be out of business soon with pisspoor customer service. Rumour is ACCOR has the resort on the market. Be great if the licensee of the restaurant and bar bought this place; then you could actually buy an alcoholic drink and take it to your room. I feel like I’m staying in a shady hotel in East Germany prior to the wall coming down. After$4k and this experience my recommendation is for OPAL COVE or PACIFIC BAY RESORT if you want to be treated as a “PAYING GUEST” not a slave with $4k and reasonable expectations for a kickarse retreat and rejuvenation
