We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in dit hotel, inclusief een heerlijk diner in het bijbehorende restaurant en een bezoek aan het nabijgelegen winkelgebied, dat op loopafstand ligt. De kamer was sfeervol en ruim, en het was handig dat we de auto voor de deur konden opladen. Helaas was er geen ventilatie in het toilet en ontbrak airconditioning in de kamer, waardoor het erg warm werd en we slecht hebben geslapen. Ondanks dit ongemak was het ontbijt goed verzorgd en hebben we daarvan genoten.

Meine Frau hat im Dezember 2023 ein Zimmer für das MotoGP Wochenende im Juni 2024 gebucht. Als ich am 29.06.24 nach einer Anfahrt von 350 Km dort ankam, wurde mir mitgeteilt, das sie ausgebucht sind und dass man heute versucht hat mich zu erreichen. Auf die Frage unter werlcher Telefonnummer man versucht hat mich zu erreichen, wurde mir eine völlig falsche Telefonnummer und eine falsche email vorgelegt. Auf den Nachweis, dass wir die richtigen Daten angegeben haben, erntete ich ein Schulterzucken und „my apologies“. Völlig katastrophal.

Very nice spacious rooms, but very noisy. You do not sleep in the beautiful castle, but across the road in the outbuilding. The rooms are beautiful, but unfortunately the building has wooden floors, which squeak and creak when someone walks above you. We were also unlucky that there were guests above us who felt it necessary to walk back and forth for half an hour at 2 a.m. and fill the bath at 2:30 a.m. So awake half the night. Breakfast was good and cozy room in the castle. Also had dinner one evening, which was not Fletcher worthy. The kitchen was in a trailer that was outside because the kitchen was being renovated. Pricey weekend stay and not value for money was our experience

I thought the room was very dingy and expected better. Stains everywhere on the walls, soap dispensers were too dirty to handle. The beds were great. I was afraid of breakfast but it was easy to do at the table. I wouldn't go there twice.

Missed opportunities. Booked a package including dinner. Room not in the castle but 50 meters away. Good bed, no telephone, no paper or pen or information folder, etc. Dinner food was good but: main course 2 out of five not present at the beginning of the evening. Refrigeration for drinks had been causing problems for several days. Failed on Friday and therefore lukewarm white wine. (ultimately not charged). Management was busy at the wedding and left young staff to solve the problems. How quickly do you drive employees away? No fresh orange juice and yoghurt from a container from the dairy farm for breakfast. All in all, a lot of missed opportunities.

Enjoyed a two night stay with breakfast and dinner. Rooms were attractive, very clean and quiet. Wonderful rain shower, just be careful with the low trusses in the room. Breakfast and dinner were above expectations for the price. The game stew, salmon and risotto tasted excellent and also looked very nice. The hazelnut crème brûlée dessert caressed my taste buds and invited me to eat it again. We enjoyed this fantastic stay and can definitely recommend it!

So the hotel is not in the castle itself, and apparently they have learned a lesson from the negative reviews. We had a beautiful room on the third floor, with large windows and a bath. Large, good bed. Breakfast (in the castle) was also fine. Plus fun things for the feet (we walked Pieterpad). For €110 this overnight stay was a bargain. The restaurant was closed on Monday, but we knew that in advance.

The room we had booked and confirmed for 2 nights was only available for 1 night.... compensation??? You will be upgraded to a suite. Not so! Regular hotel room. 15% discount on dinner.... which was really crap. The breakfast?? Stale bread, very sparse toppings, served on a wooden, unsanitary tray. In retrospect, I'm glad it was only for 1 night. We have never felt so ripped off by the description on the site.
