A great place to stay - full of historic character. Don't expect a sleek, modern vibe as that is not what this place is about. We were first greeted by two very friendly golden retrievers which softened our hearts as we were missing our fur babies as we traveled across the northwest. The accommodations were quite comfortable and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants of Coeur d'Alene. After a great night's sleep, we so enjoyed the made to order breakfast and wonderful company of the owner before we continued our journey to Glacier National. Definitely would stay again if we are ever in the area again.

L accueil de Tina et John est fantastique et très chaleureux. Ils sont de Coeur d Alene et donc sont de tres bons conseils sur les activités aux alentours. La ville est merveilleuse et les gens vous accueillent volontiers. Je recommande fortement cette adresse

A very dated property, and not in a nice historical way. The decor is tacky, the carpet dirty and stained, and I just find the only charm to be the gardens and the location (can easily walk to vibrant retail areas). I will find other accommodations for my next visit, as once here is enough for me.

The owners are welcoming and attentive when needed. The breakfast is homemade and yummy. Roosevelt is an historical hotel and the rooms are decorated accordingly. It’s within walking distance to the park/waterfront and good restaurants.

My husband and I brought our family to the garden after our wedding ceremony (held elsewhere), and it was the perfect place to gather and celebrate. The two of us stayed overnight for our honeymoon, and we had a wonderful time! Great service, comfortable night’s sleep, and a good breakfast to top it off. The Roosevelt is charming and unique, bringing a historical element to a beautiful Coeur d’Alene visit. Highly recommend!!

Fabulous two nights recommendations were the best💕my companion CKCS was greeted by two no three friendly ~ retrievers so she was happy in our surroundings also. Looking forward to our visit in September reservations already made at Satay’s a favorite of mine and the owners John & Tina. The staff was amazingly friendly helpful making you feel like a long lost friend.

I was here for a family wedding. This was the most perfect place for it. First was because the location is a slice of Heaven within a gorgeous place. Second was the owners are completely involved with every nuance of the operation. The most surprising part was how the other guests wanted to interact with you and to know more about you. While playing yard chess, two wonderful young men came over started a conversation and began helping with the chess moves. It truly is a family experience.

I arrived at this hotel a bit battered from my travels and the owners went out of their way to take really good care of me. I really appreciated the personal attention and their care for their guests!! On top of that, the room was comfortable, the grounds were lovely with plenty of lawn space, shaded outdoor seating with excellent lighting for evening relaxation, there's ample, free on-street parking right outside, and it's an easy walk from there to anywhere in the central Coeur d'Alene area.

This was a great experience. The staff is wonderful. The grounds are peaceful and well kept. The location is amazing, walking distance to downtown CDA. The room was really fun, sitting in the bell tower. Great history of the place. We walked downtown and had some amazing food. The Inn did a great job keeping the historical charm
