Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral

Beware, this hotel has not been renovated recently. We chose this hotel, because the hotel claimed to be recently renovated. Although the lobby did look updated, our room resembled something like a no name roadside motel. We had a reservation for 3 nights. Shortly after checking in, I spoke with the front desk staff to explain that we did not want to stay for our entire booking. I was assured we would be able to check out the next morning and only pay for one night. I checked again in the morning just to be sure before making a reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn down the road and was told the same thing. It took an hour to check out. I was on the phone with Hilton for an hour before the hotel cleared my reservation for the remaining two nights. This hotel does not have a pool side bar, restaurant or hot tub. Those amenities are across the street at the Marriott.

We stayed here for the stay, park, and cruise deal. The hotel is very close to the cruise terminal and offers a free shuttle service. There was also complimentary breakfast which was adequate and filling. The room was clean and spacious with a very spacious bathroom. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and accommodating, especially Margie.

I stayed at this property alone for 3 nights and I must say, the two lovely women that greeted me upon arrival were outstanding!! I had preselected my room on the Hilton app. Virginia quickly moved me to a room with a better view with the help of Shanti. They both went above and beyond to accommodate me with a smile and refreshing attitude the entire process. Also, both very knowledgeable about the facilities and amenities. Thank you to Virginia and Shanti. People make the difference and they are shining souls!!

Very nice hotel. Well kept and nice amenities. Great location when going on a cruise and very close to a really great Italian restaurant.

Stayed only one night so didn’t get opportunity to fully explore. Really friendly and helpful receptionists. Breakfast was basic but did the job - it did have scrambled eggs and sausage patties as well as waffle machines and various bakery items. The room was spacious and our room had a good view - beds were comfy. Bathroom seemed outdated, fairly weak shower water flow and we did notice a few ants crawling around on bathroom floor in the morning of our stay. There is access to the beach from back of hotel via a couple of minute walk.
