Travelodge Cockermouth

Travelodge Cockermouth is a small hotel located in a beautiful quiet location with view to the mountains on a clear day. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast has a choice of English and continental options. Good value for money and recommended for a short stay away.

Perfect for our overnight stop on the way to Scotland. The room was spotless and so was the bar cafe. Breakfast was everything you need to set you up for the day. A good range of cooked and continental items in a clean and pleasant dining area. Bed was comfy with spotless linen. Very quiet overnight. Staff were unfailingly cheerful and helpful making sure that we were ok when we had to call the AA out due to a pesky sensor failing. We'll definitely be back.

Stayed here earlier in the year, found the hotel to be nice and clean, well located for what we were looking to do in the lake district, the staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast was an all you can eat buffet with a hot english breakfast and then continental, which was really good value for money, Planning on staying again in the summer for another adventure of the lakes.

The staff were nice and friendly. It did not give a good feel from outside the hotel. The breakfast was less than average ( the fresh fruit were awful in taste). There was strange smell in the corridor.

A friendly welcome. Good price. Everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Sound sleep. Good location for north and western lakes.

Straightforward, quiet and clean as always but WiFi issues frustrating. Codes did not work on either device, despite having stayed here multiple times before and having had no issues. Hotel itself in lovely spot; quiet and clean with great access to Lakes and west Cumbria
