La carte et les menus sont rédigés habilement mais trompent le client sur ce qui lui sera servi, même si la préparation, la qualité des plats et le service sont sans reproche.
Exemple du menu affiché en PJ: magret de canard crémeux aux pleurotes, seule une très légère couche de sauce crémeuse, fort goûteuse d'ailleurs recouvre le magret, et aucune pleurote dans l'assiette, Et les pommes boulangères ressemblent à des frites de carotte sans aucune trace perceptible de lard ou d'oignon, en dépit de leur originalité.
De même, le fromage de chèvre affiné ne comporte qu'une demi-cuillère à café de marmelade de rhubarbe !

Didnt know what to expect with this hotel as the rooms looked quite cramped on the photos. This old and interesting hotel was very attractive. Our room was clean and comfortable and not cramped at all. Unfortunately the hotel had recently been flooded by the River Loir so there were humidifiers in reception, the carpets were covered by plastic sheeting and the dining room was closed. This didnt detract from our enjoyment. Dinner was arranged in the small restaurant at the front and was delightful. The food was very good. Service was also good.

We arrived at 3:30pm but couldn’t get into the hotel until 5pm, as the hotel was closed until then. The room was good but no tea / coffee in the room.
The reception was very helpful and friendly, but it would have been good to have the menu in English as well as French, as my wife ordered her meal without knowing it included scallops as there was no mention of this on the menu and scallops don’t agree with her, otherwise the meal was very good, as was breakfast.
