Our 100pct non-smoking Super 8 in Cloquet MN is located just 15 minutes from Lake SuperiorDuluth. During the winter there is skiing snowmobiling hockey and ice skating all within minutes of the motel. During the summer there is swimming fishing hiking festivals and of course shopping. For those who like to stay in we have four whirlpool theme suites and an executive suite 1- Polynesian Suite 2 - Edmund Fitzgerald 3 - Jewel of the Nile and 4 - Northern Exposure. All suites have 27 inch television fridge coffee maker and king size beds. Our doubles and singles are equipped with queen size beds and all rooms have free cable and HBO. Local calls are free as well as a free light breakfast item together with your choice of coffee tea and juice and 24hr coffee.
We have handicapped rooms. If you have any questions about restaurants trails cribs or rollaways we do have a 24hr front desk that will be happy to help you. Call today to make your reservations.

Pros:
Very easy to book/availability on short notice. Staff very friendly. Beds were comfortable and I loved the smaller pillows. I slept like a baby LOL The room was quiet in spite of seemingly busy place. Shower curtain was displayed beautifully and crafty. Nice added touch.
Cons:
Really, none!
I would stay here again.

This is a really nice place to stay. Great beds & rooms. Staff are great. The only down side was the NAHL team from Slapshot staying there was totally out of hand. Staff finally upgraded us to a quieter room around midnight, but the partying kept going until the wee hours. A raised middle finger to the coaches of this team who had no curfew and exerted no control over their players or offered to help hotel staff. They deserve a permanent stay in the penalty box. If team management sees this please hire coaches who respect the public and teach their players the right way to act. If they can't or won't control their players in a motel, what do they do during a game?

Had to reset my utilize your fine facility since I had to be at my surgical unit early. The room was super quiet and the bed was very comfortable It was what I needed prior to my surgery. Thanks for that.

The pillows were very fluffy. Bed reasonably comfortable. Room was clean and decent size. 'Light' breakfast was good. Reasonably quiet. Even though I entered my vehicle make, model, and plate number online, I still had to re-enter it again when checkin in. Not too big a deal, but it was raining and I had to go back out in the rain to check my license plate. Otherwise, it went well and I would stay there again.

Room was ok checking in was great. The checking out was horrible. I stayed using CLC they have a deal that you can stay at 24 hrs I asked for 30 minutes and you thought you had asked for whole day!! Rude rude woman called and said I had to check in with them in morning

Paid way too much for what we got. No pool and breakfast wasn’t quite what we were hoping for. Staff was very friendly and we had no other problems though. Room was fairly clean. Not that far from Duluth or Black Bear ******. There were some cool themed rooms but were not able to stay in them unfortunately.

This was our second stay at this Super 8 location and we were not disappointed. The room was clean, the staff are friendly and the hotel was relatively quiet. If you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay in the area, look no further. We had a wonderful stay and will be back again.
