For $115/nite including weekdays, this place is substandard. The breakfast bar is not worth the walk. The entire place needs an update. The carpet is dirty and greedy like it has not been cleaned in years, disgusting! Absolutely not recommended!!

Luckily I had Orbitz rewards to save on this stay. However I was reminded at check in and check out how I used a third party and quite rudely at check out. We came for the hot tub which was not in use and seemed to be out for a while with no notice. The pool area was honestly kind of gross with stains all over I used it any way because I paid to stay there.

Volume on TV did not work. Front desk staff not knowledgeable. Breakfast went downhill.

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even though we are both ambulatory, there was not an elevator for those who are non-ambulatory. The room was clean but dated. Tried to plug in our chargers for our cellphones and several of the outlets did not work as the connections were too loose. The light bulb in the lamp above the coffee maker was out.

The property was clean but it was rundown. The curtains were ripped and difficult to cover a lower level window. The bathroom was quite small.and had weird stains.

The is the only hotel we've stayed at for years
Our son and his wife live in Cloquet, and when we visit them, they haven't had the room in their apartment for us over the years for us to stay with them. We have always stayed at the Americinn by Windham,and have never been disappointed.
