I stayed here for one night recently, and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. I checked in on my own to a lovely, tastefully decorated room. It was spotless, cozy, warm, had a great coffee machine, beautiful bathroom with a bath and shower. There was also a balcony door in the room. I had dinner in the bar later and the food was great. Breakfast and the breakfast room was lovely

It's impossible to beat the Emmet Hotel in Clonakilty, west Cork for a mid-week or weekend break because the value for money is unbeatable. We stayed for a one night stopover on Thursday to tie in with the traditional music session at Shanley's bar and we were not disappointed. The Emmet is a cosy, boutique style hotel in the heart of Clon and within easy walking distance of all the best bars, shops and restaurants. It is ideally placed overlooking peaceful Emmet Square and close to the big tourist attraction that is Michael Collins House. One of the added attractions if you stay at the weekend is the weekly market on a Friday morning right across the road from this excellent establishment. Noel Spillane.

Everything was perfect. The lady who checked us in was so nice & friendly & very helpful. I think her name is Amanda. Our room was spacious & beautiful. Breakfast was delicious & the gift we received when checking out was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful hotel, staff are friendly and always there to help. Breakfast was delicious and not a problem no matter what you wanted. Really nice place to go for a weekend break. Rooms were lovely, cleaned and tidied every day. Such a pleasant atmosphere in the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay in the Emmett Hotel. Rooms comfortable and clean..Great nights sleep. Had food in the Bar, Excellent..Breakfast the the following morning was perfect, I always prefer ordering a Breakfast rather the the Buffet style. Staff were fantastic, would definitely stay again.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Emmet Hotel last weekend Dinner and breakfast were very good. The staff were particularly nice and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable with some lovely personal touches. Very reasonably priced. All in all very pleasant stay and we will happily return.

Very spacious bedroom with a huge bed, table and two armchairs, free standing long mirror, mirror, TV, wardrobe, hairdryer and an amazing coffee maker in the room. The ensuite had a large shower with an amazing power shower. Very clean through.

Stunning hotel, the food in the bar could not be faulted and staff were lovely and pleasant. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Upon checking out we were handed a little gift as a thank you! This was extremely thoughtful and something that we had not received in any other hotel before. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended to friends and family.
