Room is big with gym and swimming pool..foods are good

Excellent staff and breakfast with a very welcoming reception but poor decor and room quality Booked a family room but the idea was by the hotel just to put an extra bed in a double room??? Also the beds for the children were very high so moved all the beds together to prevent falls Lock on windows broken and missing Ask for a fan as room was hot and stuffy but was told none was available Hotel rooms were terribly bland and wallpaper torn Disappointed indeed

Second time staying at this hotel, previously was the Quality Hotel & Leisure. They have done some revamping around the main areas like reception, corridors etc but unfortunately not to the room we had. Pool is still a bit grimy. Was a bank holiday weekend, so manic with the amount of guests and parties with the place very busy. Generally kids run crazy around the place (positives and negatives to that I guess - safe for kids to run free). Same when it was the Quality Hotel. Room 106 is located nearly the top of the corridor close to reception, so quite noisy early morning and late at night. Also deliveries woke us up at 5:30. Room itself was stuffy and windows could be opened but noise outside was bothersome and people smoking outside near the entrance billowed in. We paid €180 per night and stayed 2 nights, could have asked to change but seemed to be too bothersome to change for a second night, most of our time was spent around the fabulous local beaches. The dinner in the restaurant was poor, we booked as advised and then were told that we were being moved into the bar as it was the same menu and experience, until we put our foot down. Ordered medium rare steak and sent it back after cutting into it as it was well done. What came back out was still not medium rare so just got on with it. We had dinner in Dunmore House the following night and was great. The rooms Dunmore House were more reasonable when we asked and might stay there the next time.

Went to the cinema and food truck after for some nibbles for the kids would 100% recommend so safe, family friendly, affordable and good. Food in food truck was delicious and Emer the girl in the truck was so kind and helpful with us and the kids at the food truck and making great coffees

Having just returned on Friday from a very enjoyable few days in the Clonakilty Park Hotel,I found the Staff absolutely excellent. The rooms were amazing and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful establishment and I hope to return in the bear future. Thank You

Arrived with my ladies club for a stay in June 2025. We got a very warm welcome. Staff were lovely and very helpful. . Meals were excellent and a large variety of choices. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. I left an item of sentimental value behind in my room but I rang the hotel and they found it and posted it back to me. I would highly recommend this hotel.
