Bay View House B&B

We recently enjoyed a 5-night stay at Bay View House and were thoroughly impressed. The property is absolutely spotless and furnished to a very high standard. Our room was exceptionally spacious, featuring a large, comfortable bed, an additional single bed, a modern en-suite bathroom, and a beautiful dressing room with ample hanging space, a dressing table, and several mirrors. Although Bay View House no longer serves breakfast, this was not an issue as there are numerous excellent cafés and restaurants within a short walking distance in Clonakilty. From the moment we arrived, Miriam made us feel so welcome, greeting us with a smile and a fresh pot of coffee. Her knowledge of the local area and helpful recommendations greatly enhanced our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend Bay View House and look forward to returning.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable B&B and a terrific location walking distance to town. Miriam was welcoming and makes excellent tea. A clean hotel is always our hope and this B&B exceeds expectations. Ironed pillow cases? Yes, indeed! You know how you search up a place, hope you make a good choice and it turns out way better than expected? This is that place.

Miriam was the most gracious host of all. When we had an unfortunate experience in which our travel agent booked our housing incorrectly, Miriam came to the rescue. She made space for us, treated us kindly, and helped make our time in Clonakilty so lovely. I hope to stay with her again!
