Red Roof Inn Clifton Park

The location was good for my purposes. But the room was discusting. Floors were sticky and looked dirty. Holes in bathroom walls and ceiling. Not all the outlets worked. Bed sheets felt very uncomfortable, almost clamy. Glad it was only 1 night

They gave us a room without a working lock and never fixed it liked the claimed. Plus room service never came once to clean or change are sheets, we had to keep asking for clean towels

In fairness, when we booked the room here, it was based on price and location. We had never stayed at a Red Roof Inn, and had some hope from the looks of the exterior pics that it would suffice for 2 nights. But, after this stay we won't be returning. The front desk clerk was not friendly upon arrival. Okay, maybe a hard day? Nope, the same clerk wasn't friendly when we left either. Upon entering the room, parts of it weren't vacuumed, with crumbs on the floor and hairs on the bathroom floor. The bathroom light/fan sounded like a diesel truck. And the heater/ac unit was loud and squealing, too. The walls are thin, and you can hear your neighbors and all the noise of slamming doors in the hall. The worst was the noise (fighting?) Coming from the room above us on our second night, which started around 11pm. We could hear every loud footstep and yelling and it also sounded like they were throwing stuff. We really didn't feel safe and hardly slept, even though I called to the front desk to inquire about the noise above. And, the bagged breakfast given in lieu of a breakfast buffet consisted of sugary, processed carbs. No fruit, no yogurt. But poptarts! The positives of this location was, the friendliness of the cleaning staff and their replenishing of towels, the bed was comfortable and the room was supplied with enough lighting and mirrors for my entire family. But this will not bring me and my family back. There are so many, other good hotel chains in Clifton Park, I'd advise staying at one of them.
