Imagine walking into a warm welcoming environment being given a table and choosing calves liver and sea bass from the menu, both wonderfully cooked and then Chateau Neuf de Pape by the glass! Oh, this was my heaven. There could be so many superlatives, but if in Cley, it’s a go to. Wonderful! Thanks.

Excellent Great food, wine and service . Lots to do in and around Cley We stayed for three nights over new year - it couldn’t have been better. Great hosts and a nice room with an en suite all at a reasonable price. We’d definitely stay again and explore the area more

Amazing Sunday lunch and desserts were all home made ,could not recommend enough , great food and service definitely would go back . We went back the next morning for breakfast again superb service and food don’t miss out on this gem of a place .

Walking to Cley and we were looking for a hot lunch. Haddock chowder was on the lunchtime menu, so popped in and had a very good experience, friendly , polite staff with a more than adequate lunch menu, so tea, coffee, haddock chowder and an excellent fish sandwich with fries & coleslaw was ordered. All turned up piping hot and well prepared, thoroughly recommended. All at an acceptable price too

I popped into the cafe for a takeaway sandwich (delicious) on my first day and just a coffee on my second visit . I was really impressed with the friendly welcome . I noticed that a few local business owners were enjoying some downtime and there was a lot of respect going both ways. Regular holiday makers and village residents were clearly known by name to the staff . This was lovely to see in an age when so many people don’t want to introduce themselves to others.

Very nice pub, restaurant + B&B ideally located in Cley with guest parking. The entire staff were fantastic. Ronan & Alan are fantastic hosts, made time to chat with all their guests and visitors, at the end of the 2 night stay, felt we knew them so well. The chefs and restaurant/bar staff were great. Food was unbelievable and well priced. Our room 2 was the smallest, double bed and had a private bathroom across the hall, which wasn't convenient for us personally but OK for just two nights. In summary, great stay, will defo be returning requesting larger room with ensuite. We visited nearby Blakeney & Sheringham. There was an antiques fair on (2nd day) , which we visited. The food at The Harnser is to die for, recommend Sunday roast & their home made chicken, bacon & mushroom pie. In our chats they have plans to extend, increase in size. All very positive. Recommend.

Totally awesome!!! I am a solo traveller and loved the way I was made to feel at home straight away. The owners and staff are wonderful, friendly and really helpful. The food is delicious with plenty of choice and my room was lovely, nice and warm and the bed was so comfy. The location is superb just a couple of minutes walk from the marshes. I highly recommend The Harnser and will definitely be back.

We stayed in Cley for a birthday in August first night booked the harnser for an evening meal wow it was brilliant casual great service food was stunning. So for my wife’s birthday the next night booked again and were so happy we did all I can say is thank you to everyone at the harnser for the friendly welcome great service and the most amazing food
