Having driven past The Harsner many times thinking we must go there, today we did. And what a gem it is! Booked for Sunday lunch and we knew from the welcome it was going to be good. Friendly and attentive staff, beautifully cooked roast beef & pork (we did see the vegetarian option which also looked good) washed down by Châteauneuf-du-Pape that is sold by the glass. What's not to like?

Looked at previous reviews of The Harnser and decided to book our table for Sunday lunch. We live a few miles away on the Coasthopper bus route and have only called in previously for coffees and always found it to be a charming place with a relaxed vibe and lovely friendly owners and staff. The beef roast was superb and included cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, plenty of veg, Yorkshire pud and wonderful gravy. The home made desserts here are to die for…. Have recommended The Harnser to several friends, it’s great for families and small parties alike. The tables were moved to accommodate walk ins. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly, there is a real buzz to the place and there were visitors and locals alike, some with dogs which are welcome too. Really looking forward to a repeat visit soon!

My partner and I went here for an early evening meal and were lucky to get one of the last vegetarian, Sunday lunches. It was fabulous! Great location, super atmosphere and service. Definitely will be back (and maybe stay at the B&B next time).

What a great place! I wish all pubs that you stumble across could be this welcoming with home cooked food. My cousin and I just made it for lunch as we were walking from Sheringham. So much menu choice, the menu has been very well thought about. Delicious home cooked food and not crazy prices, we will definitely be back! Thank you!

Booked for Sunday lunch having stayed in hotel previously. Great atmosphere with Ronan & Alan as welcoming as ever. The haddock chowder, Sunday roast and baked cheesecake delicious and finding a cafetiere for coffee at the end for us a treat! We will be back!!

Imagine walking into a warm welcoming environment being given a table and choosing calves liver and sea bass from the menu, both wonderfully cooked and then Chateau Neuf de Pape by the glass! Oh, this was my heaven. There could be so many superlatives, but if in Cley, it’s a go to. Wonderful! Thanks.

Excellent Great food, wine and service . Lots to do in and around Cley We stayed for three nights over new year - it couldn’t have been better. Great hosts and a nice room with an en suite all at a reasonable price. We’d definitely stay again and explore the area more

Amazing Sunday lunch and desserts were all home made ,could not recommend enough , great food and service definitely would go back . We went back the next morning for breakfast again superb service and food don’t miss out on this gem of a place .
