Popped in for Sunday roast 25th May after a walk. Was not disappointed it was superb and plenty of it! I would probably say the best I’ve had in a long time. The young staff were friendly and efficient. Couldn’t fault. I would go as far to say I would travel from the far side of Bristol just for this.

Basic at best. Food was inedible and overpriced. When I was asked how my food was and I replied not great, I was offered more sauce. Won’t be going back. Greek salad was just lettuce with 1 tomato chopped up, 1 slice of cucumber and a tiny bit of feta. Pitta bread was actually a slice of white bread. Chicken wings were overcooked (black in places) and the chips were rubbish. I’d give the appetiser 10/10.

Went to this pub yesterday with my mum dad and sister for a quick drink before carrying on walking along the seafront. I went to the toilet while everyone else was ordering so I made my own separate order at the bar which was just a small Diet Coke. I was served by what I believe to be the landlord while the rest of my family were served by a really nice man behind the bar. He proceeded to pour my drink and and then once he placed it infront of me I got my phone ready to tap my card and he told me in a really patronising tone he makes more commission on cash then card and it costs him more money for me to use my card. I said I didn’t have any cash and he said well I’ve put it through now, so made me feel uncomfortable for no reason. I don’t appreciate someone getting funny at me for using my card and keeping his bar in business albeit small amount ( even though all together as a family our round together was about £20) but I am a paying customer creating business for him at the end of the day. As a cancer patient who managed to get out for the day recovering from treatment and chose to go there, I felt extremely uncomfortable and will never return.

A lovely old building. At present having some work done on the roof. Scaffolding doesn't detract from the internal spaces or the lovely views across the Bristol channel.

A functional room to the side of the pub, so not noisy. Entrance way was functional, and room was the accessible one. Large bathroom, comfortable bed. Tiny TV, with no art work or features.

Chose the Moon and Sixpence as it was close to Clevedon hall for a wedding we attended. Very straight forward checkin, big spacious room. Everything was clean and room set up was very nice. Breakfast was very good too! Thanks for a lovely stay.
