On ressent tout de suite un bien être dans ce lieu. L'acceuil déjà : sobre, simple, souriant,... Le cadre, la déco, le parc, la piscine, les animaux domestiques, ...donnent très vite l'impression d'etre chez soi et l'envie de ne plus en partir. La table est bonne, sans prétention mais avec de bons produits ; et la cave est excellente. Un peu plus de soin dans l'entretien des abords extérieurs de la maison (terrasses, meubles extérieurs, ...) serait nécessaire pour maintenir l'attrait de ce domaine. Très heureux de nos 3 soirées et nuits passées sur place, nous y reviendrons sans hésitation.

We are just back from our 4-night stay in the lovely relaxing atmosphere of the Chateau de Clermont. The room has a beautiful view of green fields and you can hear the sound of birdsong. We also enjoyed the indoor pool. The owner/manager is extremely friendly and helpful, and prepares beautiful gourmet food from local ingredients. The cost of staying is surprisingly reasonable. The location is about 3 hours on the motorway from Calais, and once there you can easily get to the Champagne country (Reims) or even Belgium. We will certainly come back for a shopping and relaxing tour. We bought delicious vegetables and fruit from the automatic dispenser in nearby Montcornet. Cheese and wine are local specialities. We highly recommend this small private hotel.

The breakfast was lovely - we needed to set off early Sunday morning and the host was really accommodating opening early for us and putting on drinks plus fresh bread, croissants, jam and yoghurts - we really appreciated the effort and it was all served in the amazing dining area with lovely views of the garden. We also booked an evening meal for the night of our stay which was absolutely delicious and such good value. The service by the whole team was brilliant and we enjoyed some lovely wine too. Whilst we did not get chance to use it due to our short stay, the indoor pool is really lovely - a good size and heated - if we visit again ( and we hope we do) we would definitely make use of it. Finally the whole chateau is just beautiful, renovated to a high standard with its own distinct style - lots of amazing art and antiquities decorating the rooms. The bedrooms were also lovely and ours had lovely views of the generous gardens - great for watching the many birds. A really lovely find and a great end to our holiday in France

Nous étions une vingtaine d’adultes et 9 jeunes enfants (de 7 ans à bb). Nous avons passé quatre jours merveilleux au château pour fêter les 90 ans de notre maman et grand mère. L’accueil des hôtes a été si chaleureux et tout en discrétion que l’on s’est très vite senti chez nous. Les chambres sont très belles et très confortables. Les repas étaient très bon aussi. Nos hôtes ont été très agréables pour satisfaire nos demandes. Je recommande vivement car il est rare de trouver une offre aussi complète dans un lieu beau et sans snobisme...! NB : on a bien profité de la piscine aussi. Merci à la famille Foucher 😃
