Arrived to a hotel stinking of **** in the corridor, the room was not made up and dirty - great big hair in the bathroom on the toilet roll holder and a dirty bath. Only 1 large bath towel for the family. Spoke to the night time manager. She was lovely and apologised, even going to clean the room and set it up herself whilst we went to eat. I thought that was the end of it.... then went into the restaurant. We sat ordered, with a grand total of 7 people in the entire restaurant after 2 hours our food had still not arrived and the staff had no idea when it would arrive.... as nothing had been made as the chef is new? Manager was called, we had to leave after 2 hours was given our drinks on the house and a complimentary breakfast alongside of a half cooked pizza from the new chef. We left called it a night went back to a room which although the bath was cleaned the hair on the toilet roll holder remainded. The night was restless with what could be described as an elephant in the room above, and the room fluctuated from too hot to, too cold thanks to dated heating and no aircon. In the morning we went in for our complimentary breakfast. Noticing immediately how short staffed they were, and the lack of well food out on the side. Was told don't worry it's a different chef. Was there for another 2 hours managed to get a few small breakfast pieces but there were no bread or continental breakfast options, a broken coffee machine, no milk, and full English was empty trays on the side - yet guests were filling in. The day time Manager was there trying to refill as the staff seemed incompetent.... with one deciding to clean windows rather than restock the food. At this point we could have done with a complimentary takeaway to make up for a none existence dinner, and less than complimentary breakfast. So I spoke to the day time manager of which after numerous excuses I was told it's a new team.... she only got them in December - yet it is now February think the lack of training and capability is an issue here. Then was told normally the restaurant was closed in these circumstances but they are really trying? Tbh it needs closing to train staff properly

Quick summery. No evening meal as no cheff. No breakfast as very slow bringing out the food. Rusty heater and towel rail and coffee machine broken. The bed and tv did work though. Left us all feeling very unwelcome. Good parking and nice pub over the road.

After travelling the UK and staying in premier Inns, this has to be the most friendly and helpful location that I have been. Especially Lesley who went way above what she needed to ensure that we was happy with everything. She has a wicked sense of humour. Definitely returning when in the area. Thank you

The staff in the Bar especially Leslie were friendly and respectful and is a very nice person and made my stay very enjoyable loved the banter with her. This is one off the best hotels I’ve stayed in for a while I can’t wait to come back and see the staff again.

The restaurant staff has been absolutely lovely. Always been served with a smile, joke and good food and always sitting in a warm and welcome environment. Best regards to all of them, especially Lesley, one of the kindest people that I met..

The car park was treacherous with ice and absolutely no attempt to make it safe. The heating in the room is electric and only comes on once you enter the room. This making the room uncomfortably cold Reception staff in the evenings were very welcoming both evenings. Checkout reception member was distracted and not at reception, just calling across the room to me to drop the key. Therefore I was unable to feed back to her about my stay. Pub attached was bizarre and I wouldn’t use again if I was staying.

Abby was a great hostess, catering for all our needs. Jake did really well with the food, making really tasty stuff! Thanks team. David made us feel just at home and we had a good laugh with all. Overall a wonderful time out. Will recommend and look forward to another stay in the future.

Stayed here whilst visiting a client in Bradford as part of a 3 day tour of the UK. Very friendly and helpful staff, willing to go the extra mile whilst at the hotel. I found out that I’d left my AirPods at the hotel today and nothing was too much for Sharon on reception to help reunite me with them. A great ambassador for the company! Thanks so so much!
