The Liberty Hotel is an older hotel located in the old downtown Cleburne just a block away from the court house on the square. Although it still has the look and charm of a very upscale victorian hotel it has been updated with newer features. The breakfast is your typical waffles, cereal, bagels, etc. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms are the same with plenty of towels, soap and other toiletries. There usually are at least two complimentary bottles of water and a big, soft robe to sit back and relax. I absolutely love this hotel. My husband and I go there to just get away from the house. Not only is it close to antique shops, unique eating places, entertainment venues it is only 25 minutes away from the Brazos River and other interesting places. Whether it's for business or pleasure The Liberty Hotel is the place to stay when you're in Cleburne, Texas.

Nice hotel - exceptionally clean. The morning breakfast was really good and one thing that impressed me was that the cereal in the bulk cereal dispenser was the genuine Kellogg's Raisin Bran, not some generic you would find at Wal-mart. I will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed 3 nights while visiting family. Very comfortable and clean. I like the bed and the recliner. My only complaint is a small picky one. I wish the floor was carpetted. This old man likes to walk on a carpetted floor in the bedroom. I know that's not the popular style right now. Otherwise, the room looked good. Everything worked and it was only 7500 points per night on Wyndham Rewards.
