Royal North Beach

Great stay. But on returning home.. No return of deposits paid.. Totalling over €350.. And after repeated attempts to contact them for over 2 weeks no joy... I wish for an e-mail address or direct contact with JAY...the guy we dealt with... I evrn got a friend to knock on their door to sort..with no success...

This place an an absolute dump... I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay here.. only : rooms are available to rent and none of them are fit for a human.. it's all false advertisement... And don't expect a refund because they won't give it to you.

For starters, every room feels like being in a house. My room had a full size kitchen, a large living room, a full size bedroom, and a pretty decent size bathroom. The pool was gorgeous. Every wall, including the inside walls are made of solid concrete. They were doing renovations on the first floor from the past hurricane. They were using all kinds of tools and equipment and I couldn't hear a thing in my room. I was already impressed with the accommodations (and I'm picky) but I found that as they were finishing up the rooms on the first floor floor they were getting ready to renovate all the rooms on the second floor. I was kind of surprised because they already seemed great, but I got to see some of the finished rooms on the first floor and realized They will be even better. The location is wonderful, it is about a half a mile from the busy Pier 60 area, but is on a very quiet end of that street. Walking across the street about a block puts you on the beach. It really is near everything. But out-of-the-way enough that you don't have to deal with the traffic and noise. The owner/manager is awesome. He found a secure place to park my motorcycle while I was there (he rides as well). The hotel is a courtyard style, the pool is in the center, and the rooms are accessed from the outside on two levels. I really can't think of anything negative to say because everything could not have been better. I am a chain hotel kind of guy, and this was a great experience from start to finish. It is definitely my first choice when staying in Clearwater!

This property was affected by the last hurricane This property was affected by the last hurricane, the entire first floor was closed, the lobby where the reception is in very poor condition, the room with unfinished repairs although it was on the second floor, an unbeatable location and I understand that these are difficult times for the owners to keep it open in these conditions. But honestly, work should not be allowed in this state, much less charge as if it were 100% operational.
