AC Hotel St. Louis Clayton

Solo female traveler The service and friendliness was 100 percent. It’s downtown in between office buildings. Not a lot around. Block up there were more restaurants. Not a lot going on right around it. I felt safe alone.

The front desk is friendly but basic needs aren't met. Construction is shoddy and you can hear everything from the adjacent rooms. At 2 in the morning someone was going in and out repeatedly for several hours. You could hear the whoosh and slam of the doors all night. The same guest then played their phone on speakerphone and their TV loudly. You could hear it down the hall. They kept at it until past 4 a.m. at which point I was shaking from lack of sleep. Safe and internet were not working either.

The hotel was clean and updated, and the staff was attentive to our every need! The location is fantastic—close (walking distance) to restaurants and bars—and felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again.

We for the most part enjoyed this hotel for our 4 night stay and will be honest as we are owners of other Marriott’s in the area. The rooms are nice the staff was very friendly especially the breakfast attendant and we enjoyed a dinner on the top floor although the service was very slow. I will say we were extremely disappointed to come back our last night 1/15 to our room that HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED (Room 624) when we had been gone for at least 8 to 10 hours this day as a titanium member and again hotel owners this is just not acceptable. You need to do better as we would be held responsible in our properties for this and expect better of our employees. My husband who is the titanium member has stayed multiple times and this was disappointing to say the least all we excepted was the towels changed the bed made and the trash picked up and this wasn’t to much to ask.
