When we were trying to check in a little boy accidentally spilled some water on the computer, not maliciously or anything, and the receptionist instantly had the worst attitude. She made no attempt to try and find a solution just threw her hands up in the air and said “it’s over it’s done” mind you there was a second computer that she refused to use until she was instructed to do so. She even stated oh it’s gonna be a long while so you may as well wait in their room ( the other family that was in the waiting area, with no idea if we were related or even knew each other). Against my better judgment we went ahead and checked in. Our room smelled terribly of mildew and the doors did not lock all the way, the door to the room or the bathroom door. Ok I suck it up yet again, we are only here for two days. Then I get my children both under 2 all ready to go to the pool and then I’m informed oh we don’t have a pool but you can use the pool in our neighboring property. At this point I’m livid because has the lady who originally told us they didn’t have a pool we NEVER would have checked in, I have two small children so to have to load them up and drive to a separate property just to swim and then have to load them up to bring them back is totally unacceptable, and to not be told that upfront, we’ll I have my thoughts on that too because it should be EXPLICITLY stated on their website that they do not have a pool and expecting guests to be ok with having to travel to use amenities that they paid for Is down right rude. Then I wanted to discuss my issues with someone and conveniently no one has access to a corporate number. So they eventually give me a card for the general manager and I have called and left multiple messages with not even an acknowledgment that he received them. I get it, I’m one person, and my family is only about 20 people that travel together so maybe our business isn’t all that important to them but for such a large brand that has hotels all over everywhere you’d think they would want to try and rectify the situation and at least try and keep the business.

Mediocre Mattresses were worn out. Window screen had a big hole. Funny smells. Odd noises. Now my ankles are itchy.
