I booked 9 nights at the courtyard I checked into my first room that was on a top floor. The first morning there was no hot water. I wasn’t upset until the head engineer tried to debate how that couldn’t be possible. They moved me to a first floor room. I walked into the new room and it had a lot of wear and tear, there was a bug on the rug, curtains were knotted, no shampoo bottle in shower or shower curtain, no amenities on sink, or vanity mirror. When I made the reservation i needed a hotel with a business center. I attempted to use the printer, but they were out of ink. The general manager stated the truck would be there in the morning, however it never arrived nor did she offer to go to the store to buy ink. She did offer to send the documents to her computer, but due to the sensitivity of the documents that wasn’t an option. I was told by the girl at the front desk that she offered the general manager to go buy ink and wasn’t allowed. The next day I returned and the room wasn’t cleaned. The front desk attendant explained that they only cleaned every 3 days unless I requested. I let them know that I wanted service every day. There still was no shower curtain and ended up using my towels to dry the floor. The entire stay they only delivered towels to the room once. I had to bring my towels to the front desk. On one of of the last days I brought my towels to the desk and was told by Ebony to take take them back to the room and place them outside my room, needless to say they never picked them up. I asked her why I wasn’t getting any service. She stated that it all depends how busy they are. The housekeeper could have 20 rooms to clean and they are very busy. The hot tub wasn’t working, attempted to do my laundry and had to go to the front desk to get them to clean it. They never answered the phone at the desk. It became clear that they have one person covering the restaurant (cooking order) and covering front desk. On another occasion the front desk clerk had to eat there meal at the desk while working the desk. The majority of the staff are very kind, but a few others could care less and need to be trained. The general manger needs training as well as the head engineer. He is in over his head! This hotel definitely isn’t what Marriott represents. I was going to move to the other Marriott across the street, but I was told at the desk that it’s the same owner. I feel terrible even saying this, however it needs to be addressed. They have homeless individuals hanging out in the lobby, and one of the evenings that I arrived late I noticed that there are tents set up on the side of the hotel. No I didn’t feel safe! I ended up checking out and staying at the Hyatt in Nashville and it was amazing! There are more pics, unfortunately the site is having issues uploading them
