This is an old roadside motel that has been converted to some upscale rooms. It is off the beaten path from Helen but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It was quiet and peaceful but very dark when the sun goes down. Price was a little high but that is to be expected during the fall in that area. The room was kind of cold and took a while to heat up. There was a space heater and blankets that came in handy. The room was nicely decorated and had a bar area and a seating area and had a nice lodge decor with a comfortable bed. There was a patio area out the back door with a picnic table overlooking a grassy area. Parking was at the room door. There was a restaurant on-site. This is not the place to stay if you want to be in the midst of the Helen attractions, but if you are looking for some peace and quiet, it is a good choice.
