Apple Mtn Resort is a great place to stay. The check in was flawless. The women behind the counter were so nice and helpful. The condo itself was very big. The presidential lock offs is where we stayed. It does need some upgrading but it did not bother us. The person in charge of customer relations told us it is in the works. The freezer did go on the fritz but we also had the studio so we just used that one. They would have moved us, but we did not want to bother. We did use the miniature golf course. It was really fun and very nicely laid out. We used the shuffle board that was great too. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. The front desk always very helpful. Clarksville is a small town with some nice little shops. The dining not so much, so if you are a dining out person, skip this one. The best thing in Carksville is the auto museum. It is right next to the bowling ally (which by the way looked really fun). You have to go to the museum. It is $15 to get in and well worth it. The cars are magnificent. The gentlemen who are running it are full of knowledge and great to talk with. I can't say enough nice things about this museum. A Must!. Blue Ridge is a wonderful town, about 1.5 hrs away, but well worth the time in the car. Helen is a tourist trap. Clayton is also a really great town really good places to eat and nice shopping. If you are a hiker the waterfalls are spectacular. Get a book to look them up. There are several really near Clarksville. Wonderful time.

The good. The staff at the resort were great - friendly , responsive, and efficient at check in and assisting with issues. The location was great, quiet and offered lots to do within a 1.5 hour driving radius for hiking, shopping, eating and site seeing. The bad. We had a bug issue on arrival- pill bugs and small roaches. We had to have our unit sprayed on our second day (we had leave while they sprayed) which was inconvenient and not what you want to do on vacation. We had to sweep up bugs (most dead, some alive) everyday after the spray we were there giving an unsanitary feel. The living room sofas were dirty/stained which gave the feel of old and needing replacement.

We enjoyed the 2 bedroom unit and the free amenities (mini-golf, tennis, basketball); the pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Everything is within driving distance. We had a great time hiking, visiting Helen, good food and all the waterfalls.

The property offered so many amenities to pass the time: tennis, basketball, table tennis, corn hole, mini golf, volleyball, arcade/pool table room and a fitness center. The property is nestle among trees for ambiance and a great layout for taking a walk. It is right across the street from the b3autuful golf course, which is discounted with a stay at the resort. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath had a king bed in one room and a queen in the other, with very comfortable beds and lots of pillows. The kitchen was well equipped with everything for cooking meals. Both baths have shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. We enjoyed eating and just sitting out on the patio. The front desk employees were all so friendly, professional and helpful. The location of this resort is just a short drive to so many waterfalls, hiking areas, parks and other quaint towns. The only negative is the lack of washer and dryer in the unit but there is a self service pay laundry room on site. We will definitely revisit again.

We stayed here because we are Club members. We didn’t know what to expect from the resort. We really really like the facility. The golf course looks great, but we will not be able to play on this visit. The area is great. We will be back next year.

This resort is near some amazing parks and activities. Our group enjoyed visiting Helen, ziplining, horseback riding, and several hikes to nearby waterfalls, including Anna Ruby Falls, Tallulah Gorge State Park, and Duke's Creek Falls. The staff was extremely responsive to any issues/requests. The only thing they couldn't quickly address was the bumblebee/wasps in the hot tub area, but we were able to just adjust our visits to mornings and evenings so we could still make the most of it. We did have a couple of issues with other guests going through the dryers in the shared laundry area and someone walking away with my son's handheld mist fan while he was in the restroom, but the staff tried their best to search for that and keep us updated if anything was turned in. Sadly, it wasn't, but it was still a great trip. Would definitely return.

This is our 3rd year staying at Apple Mountain and we enjoy the location for it is central to other areas for day activities such as Helen GA and Dahlonega GA. We enjoy the shopping and dining in the Clarkesville area. Relaxing time playing pool and mini golf at activity center.

Condo was very spacious,. Was on ground level and neighbors above us were quiet. Location of condo was great for day trips to North Georgia (Clarkesville, Clayton, Santee Helen, Toccoa and Delonaga. Waterfalls and shopping experience were great.

Great unit- great amenities- clean and everything functional- and modern and up to date- neighbors upstairs were noisy and did not respect quiet hours- master bathroom was cramped and hard to use no other problems
