Beautiful building with ample parking and gardens. Inside the reception are was inviting with a beautiful staircase leading to the first floor. Everything was good apart from the food and drink service. The car maid was lovely but the supervisor wasn’t so pleasant, talked down to the girl in front of us all which we felt a bit embarrassed by. I didn’t stay over so can’t comment and I would like to try it but I just think the food area and the reception area toilets needed a little attention

Lovely old house and grounds Lovely big bright room with windows overlooking the front of the house and garden. Staff lovely and very helpful. A couple of issues that conveyed to the staff who made a note to rectify. would definitely stay again.

We had our wedding at woodland manor on 26th July 2025, with us and multiple guests staying, and had a wonderful experience. The team were all friendly and welcoming, they were very accommodating and helpful in organising our day and made us feel special throughout our stay. Special thanks to Cherie who coordinated our day, checking in with us regularly and keeping us updated and looking after us and our suppliers. Also to the owner Raj and his family who made us feel welcome giving us a great experience. I would highly recommend this venue for any event, its a beautiful location which was close to home but also felt private and tucked away in their stunning grounds. We were privileged to use it after all it's recent refurbishments which has just modernised it and made it a beautiful mix of historic but contemporary.

We stayed for one night. When we checked in the receptionist was not very helpful. The room however was large and clean. We arrived for breakfast the following morning and we were presented with boxes of cereals, a bowl of fruit and a few jugs of juice - which didn’t appear to match with the standard of hotel. We decided not to stay for breakfast and left feedback with the receptionist who appeared disinterested at best.

I could not see a separate review for the restaurant! Have not been back to this venue for some years. We went for Sunday lunch which was disappointing as very little to choose from the menu. Only four items for the mains - Roast Beef, Roast Pork, Sea Bass and a Vegetarian Quorn dish. I chose the Sea Bass and was then told they had run out - 1.30pm? Would I have cod which I did. My son had the roast beef and it was thin and covered in gravy making it look as though it had come frozen. Our first course of halloumi and crab cakes was delicious. We did not have a dessert. Would not go back for Sunday lunch but seeing the beautiful Afternoon Teas would go back for them!

plenty of off road parking, evening meal was good , staff friendly and very helpful , , we had a small issue with our room and this was resolved within the hour, good location for various attractions , would stay again. Great customer service

We held our Yr 13 Valedictory Ball at the venue, the staff were attentive and food service was efficient and professional. The food was of a good quality and provided good value for money. The students all had a great time and were able to enjoy the setting and ambience.

We had a WONDERFUL afternoon tea! I can’t say thank you enough to the fantastic staff at Woodland Manor for hosting my Aunties and Mum’s afternoon tea Hen-do! The afternoon tea was fantastic, there were lots of beautifully prepared fresh sandwiches, scones and sweet treats and an enormous amount of tea. They allowed us to decorate the tables with our own decorations, catered fantastically to all our dietary requirements and requests, had an incredible accessible venue and a huge shout out to Sarah and Amy who throughout the lead up and the day made us feel very special. They have created such fanatic and special memories! Thank you again Woodland Manor, we can’t wait to come back.
