Xuanli Hotel (Fangte Resort Branch, Ningbo University of Finance and Economics)

Overall, the hotel was quite good. The cleanliness and environment were satisfactory, and the decor had its own unique style. The staff were friendly and greeted us whenever we approached. The breakfast was delicious, and the free late-night snack was a thoughtful touch. Providing toiletries for children was a great bonus. However, there are a few minor details to mention. 1. The only tissue in the entire room was a small, thin pack on the sink (of course, there was toilet paper in the bathroom). I searched around outside for tissues while ordering takeout and couldn't find any, so I had to resort to this tissue; it was really thin and from a cheap brand. Given the hotel's positioning as a high-end establishment, such stinginess with tissues is unnecessary. 2. The hotel is newly opened, and the room still had a slight odor. The air conditioning was on for ventilation, but the light on the air conditioning control panel was incredibly bright. At night, the green light was unpleasant, and turning off the air conditioning made the odor return. Those sensitive to light should be aware of this. 3. The elevator was too slow; the wait was quite long during breakfast. 4. The trash can in the bathroom was inconvenient for disposing of tissues.

The hotel has a grand and stylish exterior, and there's a terrace on the second floor—a nice place to sit and chat leisurely. The room was clean, and I stayed on the 30th floor. The breakfast was plentiful, with almost everything you'd expect. The only downside was the slow elevator; otherwise, it was fine.

It's a very new hotel, but the elevator, corridors, and rooms had a strong, pungent smell from the renovations. The room window could only be opened a crack, and I had a headache and sore throat after one night. Maybe I'm just a sensitive person. The room's cleanliness was questionable; I found a sticky substance on the bedside table as soon as I entered, and there were leftovers from previous guests on the bathroom sink countertop. However, there were some good points. The hotel environment was nice, and there were plenty of parking spaces in the underground parking lot. The most commendable thing was the heartwarming late-night congee and freshly cooked noodles, and the breakfast was also plentiful, fresh, and delicious.

The facilities are relatively new and complete. During peak dining hours, the elevator wait can be quite long, but it doesn't stop when the hotel is full. Cleanliness is acceptable; one pair of slippers was clearly reused. The shower pressure is sufficient. The TV doesn't have on-demand services. There were noticeably more guests during the long holiday. Overall, it's not bad.

The hotel is quite easy to find. The second floor offers a variety of dining options, and there's an outdoor movie screening in the evening. The facilities are comprehensive. The floors are named after the 24 solar terms, showing attention to detail! The rooms have smart AI controls, but the soundproofing isn't great; the noise from the air conditioner units in the building across the street can be heard from over 10 floors down. The indoor environment is decent, but the trash cans weren't lined with trash bags… After turning off the lights at night, the nightlights (yellow) and air conditioner light (green) are both on, which isn't ideal for people who need to sleep well… Overall, it's okay. Booking early during the holidays is more affordable, and it's not far from Fantawild. Heartwarming late-night snack: The mixed noodles were delicious!
