Excellent choice of food at the breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly & helpful. Location is excellent - about 100 metres from the main entrance of rail station Rome Termini.

I truly can't say enough good things about this hotel. We were a group of 13. Yes, the decor was a bit dated, but our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. What made our stay memorable was the staff. They went above and beyond, helping us before with planning and LOTS of questions, during when the airline lost our luggage, and even after still trying to track it down for us once we got on our cruise. They waited for us at the airport while we were dealing with the luggage issue. We had an amazing dinner upstairs our day of arrival. They recommended stores to get the essentials we needed. Every single person we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely return.

After spending 12 nights on the state of the art Silver Nova with every modern convenience spending a night at Hotel San Giorgio was like stepping 50 years back in time. The marble entry was timeless and classic, the red carpet timeworn and lifeless. This was the story of the hotel: some things worked very well and some things were in need of freshening and updating. The location is central and convenient to the port, service is attentive. If you're looking for something new and shiny this is not your place. Looking for something with a little panache you might enjoy HSG.

Shambolic place. Ripped carpets, dirty walls, shabby rooms, poor service. Don’t waste your money on a cruise port transfer €35 fora on km trip and the bus left an hour late. No apology. No explanation. No consideration. I will be demanding a refund.

Charming hotel overlooking the Mediterranean..nice breakfast.. Organized a cruise group gathering the afternoon before departure..Great restaurant 2 blocks from the hotel..La Buffone..The hotel staff was outstanding pointing out the best views of the Feast of San Fermina..
