la titolare troppo attaccata ai soldi, neanche i soldi per pagare il posteggio...posto carino, ma scomodissimo per posteggio auto, da evitare....non c'è neanche il ristorante....e non parliamo del resto, ma come fanno a definirsi imprenditori...assurdi!!!

We have spent a month in Italy and have been treated to some fab hospitality but left the best until last. Not easy to find but so well worth the effort. Small, truly boutique, exudes attention to detail everywhere and so welcoming. Italy at its best. A special place in a historic but largely ignored corner of the country.

The positives first: The hotel had been renovated to a very high standard and all fittings were modern and comfortable. The son of the owner was a very helpful and polite young man - he even picked us up at the station. When we had problems later he tried his best to help us. The negatives: the owner did not seem to be in control and concerned with our comfort. The bathroom had not been cleaned when we arrived and no-one attended to it until the next day. The toilet bowl was filthy, there were several hairs in the wash basin, and the soap dish wasn't clean. I had to wash it down and use hand sanitizer to clean all the fittings. Our table in the breakfast room had a dirty cloth. A group had been at the hotel the previous day and supplies had not been replenished. The breakfast was very poor; cereals had run out on the second day and we had to ask for juice and yoghurt.. I chose croissants on the second day but 2 of the three were stale from the previous day. We were the only guests in the hotel and it was as if we were in the way. In a hotel of this calibre, I would have expected well laundered sheets but the ones we had had not been pressed and were badly creased. We had chosen this hotel because of the good reviews but were extremely disappointed. I agree with the comments made in the review from June 2023 and could not give a score of more than 1 out of five.We had been travelling in Italy for over 2 weeks and had excellent accommodation. However, our experience at Palazzo Fortuna was the worst experience we have ever had in a hotel in Europe.

La Residenza Palazzo Fortuna è la perla di una cittadina con un ricco patrimonio artistico , storico e paesaggistico. Le camere sono lussuose, arredate con uno stile perfetto e dotate di ogni comfort possibile. Ogni esigenza è stata soddisfatta con prontezza, anche quelle espresse con una certa urgenza e all'ultimo momento. La cucina è ottima, con cibi freschissimi e cucinati sul momento e la cantina dei vini fornitissima. Cosa gradita anche la visita ai luoghi storici della città propostaci da una guida che ha lasciato trasparire tutto il fascino della storia locale. In più abbiamo avuto la sorpresa di trovare nella struttura Can Yaman e Francesca Chillemi, ospiti della stessa residenza. Insomma tutto quello che si può desiderare in un'atmosfera di cordialità, familiarità e calore umano.

La struttura é semplicemente incantevole, con arredamenti lussuosi che ti raccontano la storia. Professionalità e gentilezza contraddistinguono la proprietaria Clara. Il ristorante propone piatti eseguiti magistralmente. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Location fantastica, un palazzo storico ben ristrutturato e arredato con pezzi di design ma ? Il trattamento la gestione sono poco professionali e non altezza della struttura. La colazione scarsa, poco assortimento unica eccezione i "cornetti" della pasticceria che si trova di fronte al palazzo. I croissant serviti erano buoni ma con il ripieno di marmellata diversa da quella ordinata. Abbiamo richiesto del latte caldo e viene servito tiepido, chiediamo un secondo caffè e non è mai arrivato al tavolo. Di sera la struttura non è presidiata ed è impossibile consumare un caffè, un drink, un aperitivo o per qualsiasi altra necessità. Il costo della camera visto il trattamento è sicuramente troppo alto. La nostra è stata un'esperienza non all'altezza delle aspettative e da non ripetere assolutamente. PS. Molto interessante invece il tour nel centro della città, guidato da Domenico il marito della proprietaria.

È stata una vera fortuna di nome e di fatto essere ospite, assieme a mia moglie, di questa meravigliosa struttura. Il trattamento ricevuto è stato al di là di ogni più esigente aspettativa: cortesia, professionalità, dedizione all’ospite sono solo alcuni degli aspetti positivi dell’ hotel e dei suoi titolari. Il personale anche si è prodigato per rendere squisito il nostro soggiorno. Nulla da eccepire sul palazzo e tutte le sue pertinenze. Ottimo il servizio colazione e ristorante con suggerimenti preziosi per gustare le specialità della casa. Unico neo, se vogliamo essere precisi, il fatto che Civita Castellana, luogo ricco di opportunità paesaggistico-culturali, non sia adeguatamente promosso e valorizzato quando, strutture come I’Hotel Palazzo Fortuna, meriterebbero una migliore proposta di fruizione, da parte degli Enti preposti, delle potenzialità inespresse della città e della sua ricchissima storia.
