10/10 would recommend staying here when visiting San Luis Potosí. Martha & Eduardo were so kind and informative. Our room was clean and quiet. The breakfast and dinner that was included was delicious. We loved the night and day tour of all the animals rescued. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

I cannot stress enough how FANTASTIC this place is. The concept behind the place and the fact that they are saving animals in need is a great thing. The animals are really well looked after and we were given numerous tours to see the animals which we loved. The hosts that looked after us (Martha & Eduardo )were exceptional and we both looked forward to our meal times and seeing them as every exchange was so nice. Genuinely two of the nicest people you could meet. We told Martha we were trying to learn Spanish and as a result she would be so patient with us and talk in as much Spanish as possible which we both really appreciated and loved. They were both so generous with their time and a day after leaving we both really miss them and this magical place. The accommodation is set really deep within the jungle which feels special. They have loads of blankets and 2 good heaters so it’s easy to stay warm and we were there in the coldest week of the year. There were two cooks (Jess and Sissy) and the food was wonderful. Really flavoursome and nice big portions to fill you up for the activities we had booked for the day. This place will forever be in my memory as one of my happiest times. Wonderful place to stay when in this city. Not only is the customer service great but the cabin is also a really quiet place to stay. The food is amazing. They had vegetarians options which I enjoyed. As well as sustainable practices such as reducing plastic with water provided in the room not being in disposable plastic. They gave great information on all the animals that they support who have been rescued. Eduardo and Marta were amazing! I’d highly recommend anyone stay here. Great location to micos Cascadas as well!

Algo fuera de lo común para conectar con la naturaleza, apreciar y aprender a coexistir con la fauna silvestre, sin duda hospedarse aqui para apoyar a la causa es lo que mas me gusto, si tienen oportunidad de apoyar haganlo es comodo y la comida muy rica.

Conocí Selva Teenek gracias a su labor como protectores de la fauna silvestre, una labor bastante necesaria en un país como el nuestro. Llegar desde Ciudad Valles fue bastante fácil incluso en transporte público pero la verdadera magia comienza al cruzar las puertas. La atención es personalizada para cada grupo de viajeros y el staff es increíblemente amable y atento a cada necesidad en partícular. Las instalaciones están en excelentes condiciones y te explican cómo cada detalle está pensado para una convivencia armoniosa con la naturaleza. Las cabañas están muy bien equipadas, tienen acabados preciosos en pisos y techos y cuentan con amenidades como aire acondicionado o calentador para los días fríos. Las camas son amplias y cómodas y persianas blackout para dormir y evitar el paso de la luz. Cuentan con restaurante con platillos deliciosos y son muy flexibles y atentos ante cualquier restricción de dieta o requerimiento. El recorrido por los recintos de los animales es precioso: cada uno de ellos tiene una historia muy interesante y los guías cuentan con mucho cariño cómo es que llegaron ahí y los esfuerzos que hacen para cuidarles. Entre los animales que podemos observar están el jaguar, puma, ocelote, margay, martucha, grisones y tamandúas, especies que son difíciles de ver en otro tipo de espacios. La ubicación también es perfecta pues no muy lejos del lugar están las cascadas de Micos, perfectas para nadar, almorzar o animarse a practicar salto de cascada. Sin duda es un destino increíble para los amantes de la naturaleza o para quienes buscan salir de la rutina y desconectarse un poco.

Muy padre estadía. La cabaña muy limpia y espaciosa. El personal súper amable y atento, con muy buenas recomendaciones para actividades y comida. Se notaba mucho su dedicación al lugar. La comida estuvo deliciosa, variada y muy completa.
