Courtyard Ciudad Juarez

Horrible property! This hotel says Marriott on the building but it's not a real Marriott. Horrible management and staff, poor wifi, place smells like smoke, crappy breakfast. Zero respect as a Ambassador member. There is a reason this property rates so low for the area. Avoid this dump and go elsewhere.

This is a nice property in the better part of Juarez and close to the US Consulate. It is newer and well appointed. The restaurant food is really good and the breakfast is always reliable and had a good spread. The staff at the restaurant is excellent and accommodating. They even customize some of the run of the mill items for you. This is by far the best Courtyard I have stayed in...granted most of the ones I have stayed at are in the US and really run down and nickle and dime you for everything. This is close to a large popular mall and so there is a lot to do and plenty of food options. The only gripe is that they dont honor the Bonvoy elites and upgrade them automatically. They want to sell those rooms. The other issue minor issue is that for such a large hotel they only have one set of washer and dryer and this can be challenging especially if one is staying there long term.

I have stayed at this hotel three times. Staff were always attentive and helpful. Never had a mix-up with a reservation. Never had a problem with noisy neighbors. The rooms with two queen beds are very clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Breakfast is very good with a wide variety of items, including made-to-order omelettes (you have to ask). Having seen many negative reviews of other hotels in Ciudad Juárez and having had a bad experience at the one other hotel I tried there, I will definitely return to the Courtyard if I visit the city again.

Had to spend the night in Juarez and was not looking forward to it. Normally I go back to El Paso for the night but circumstances dictated otherwise. I wanted a safe and convenient place with a restaurant. The Courtyard is new, clean and very comfortable. Lobby is great and rooms are spacious as well. Would definitely come back if needed.

OK folks. So, Juarez is weird. Stay at this hotel and you won't be sorry. We started out at a neighboring hotel and let's just say it was GROSS. The Courtyard is - of course - ideal for business travelers but it suited our needs perfectly. So glad we moved. The location makes it nice for anyone with business at the US consulate. There's a nice lobby and restaurant, with amazing staff, and that makes it a great place to while away hours awaiting consulate BS. Please don't stay at ANY of those yucky places closer to the consulate. YOU'RE WELCOME, no seriously guys I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Those other places are NASTY. The Courtyard is clean, hip, convenient, spacious. No need to look elsewhere!
