GGuest UserGreat customer service. Close to highways and shopping. Close to restaurants. My family enjoyed the stay, and the pool was very clean, which is a must for me.
GGuest UserI spent one night at the Hollywood Casino at Greektown. I did not visit the casino. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line.
I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs.
I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the casino, or go out.

GGuest UserAnything wonderful site to go to their generous kind and they are definitely definitely looking out for their clients I recommend them to anyone
GGuest UserWe loved our stay at the Clarion Hotel metro Detroit airport! We were in the midst of a move and have stayed here twice in the last week for 8 days. It was pretty clean too! It was convenient and close to my job as well. It was nice also has a nice swimming pool and even though I didn't get a chance to swim on the hot days, I loved the grounds and the scenery! So relaxing! The free breakfast was also nice with waffles, eggs and sausage. I have no complaints about it and I would choose it and recommend it as one of my favorites now in this area by the airport, for price, location, and the amenities.
LLady SilvermoonIs a very nice, clean, basic hostel. Location is outside downtown Detroit so can be expensive to travel by car but Uber and Lyft are both readily available. Has wonderful restaurants in the immediate area and a very diverse community of very nice people. I really enjoyed waking up to the call to prayer from the local mosque. Managers were friendly and accommodating. Could use a fan in the room but not a huge deal. Bathroom, kitchen and common area was kept exceptionally clean. Had a nice courtyard with a fire pit for evening gatherings. Was quiet for sleep at night. I felt safe and secure as a female solo traveler.
IIsaGood for the price paid. Was allowed to check in a bit early. Room better than red roof. Towels could be newer. Bed sheets, pillow covers could be starch ironed. Deeper cleaning of the bathroom would be great. Internet didnt work well. Parking lot needs cleaning. Good hotel for the Detroit area.
GGuest UserThis hotel was convenient to what I needed. I'll probably stay there again but it's not like there are better options nearby. It could use an update though.
The front desk was friendly, which was good because my hotel key kept getting De-magnetized. I think most people only stay here for one night though, and they kept making that assumption, which was weird.
There was a sign saying they didn't do maid service every day because of covid. When I asked they didn't seem ”sure” and the first day I said I didn't need it. Not sure if they didn't come the second day because of that, but no one came.
The amenities were really small and basic.
The pool seemed dirty. The water was very cloudy.
GGuest UserThe bathroom was dirty, just worth it. The airport shuttle bus was well provided, but it was unpleasant because the hotel was full of ** smells.
