4.5/5
Excellent
GGuest UserThe room is very new and decorated in a modern style. They are all good and there are restaurants nearby. The room fee paid when checking in was charged again. To repeat. Later, I contacted Ctrip and the front desk manager. Said it would be done well. No results yet. I hope the deposit will be returned normally as soon as possible.
First time staying at a Tru by Hilton, and we loved it! We mostly needed a place for one night since we were just in Milwaukee visiting friends. But the location was great and close to the freeway and easy to find. I was a little skeptical of the hard wood floors, but they were not bad. It made the room a little echo-y, but it wasn't terrible (and I get why the wood floors, much easier for cleaning). The Bathroom was HUGE and I loved that it came with built in shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the shower and hand soap and lotion by the sink! The beds were true Queen size (not that smaller size places pawn off as a ”queen”). The under bed storage was a smart design, and the simplicity of room was a nice refreshing take on décor. We will totally book a Tru again for traveling (or a Home2Suites if we have a longer stay). The only down side was breakfast ended at 9am, and we almost missed it. Oh, and I believe I found 24 (yes 24) Electrical sockets in the room along with 4 USB plug ins by the TV. It was nice to not have to hunt around for a socket!
GGuest UserWe were in town for a funeral and this hotel was the ideal location. Everything was top notch. The complimentary breakfast was very good, area was kept very clean and stocked with breakfast items. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Ddiane wCaring staff from check in, housekeeping, to food and beverage services. Beautiful facility in a beautiful setting. Tastefully decorated room, comfortable bed, fantastic water pressure in the shower, and modern HVAC to quickly modify the temperature for comfort. Highly recommend!
NNj MintoShower heads could use a good cleaning over all room was very clean. The staff needs alot of work on manners! At check in no one was at the desk and the phone to call them dose not work right, you need to tap it to release the button to get a dial tone (needs to be replaced). It took her 15 min to come from where ever she was and looked like we woke her up! We checked in at 10:30. We stayed two nights, and needed another night and let the night audit person know so they dint wake us in the morning and he kept telling me he couldn't do it, computers were down. Had to tell him yes I know your running audit, just leave a note so we don't get woke up and i will come down in morning to rent another night! Next morning same one that checked us in, standing at desk texting on her phone and then tried to make a call, while i'm standing and waiting! and then look at me disgusted like i was interrupting her and her friend that was standing there! told her I need room another night because my daughter just had the first New Years baby, No Congratulations or good morning or hope your enjoying your stay. Next morning we were up at the end of breakfast time and they had not started cleaning dinning area yet so we grabbed some hot food that was left with our coffee, and desk person right away snorts breakfast is done! yes I know this and also know that stuff gets thrown away that is not used and I walked away.
I worked In a Motel for 7 years, I loved my job and the people that stayed, And we were at the desk as soon as you walked in the door, even if we were working on laundry from that day. And if anyone came down last min for food we were glad to help them and also get them somethings if it ran out, I have worked ever shift and housekeeping in my time. We were there to help people and make their stay pleasant and a good one, that's how you get people to come back!
HHarrisDeonteI love it here the pool is so amazing jacuzzi was very clean heated the pool is also heated and clean the rooms was very amazing smell good and clean the beds are so big and comfortable clean sheets clean pillow I literally didn't want to leave the hotel I stay a extra two nights just because I loved it so much and it was very relaxing then I'm around all the stores you can name like Walmart Target it's right by the mall where I went shopping I will recommend anyone to come here and stay
We stayed here while in town for a concert at Alpine Valley. Was a perfect distance from the venue and near town. Everything was great! Was quiet, clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again when we are in the area again!
When I arrived, I was taken aback by how oddly mean-spirited the clerk was. He snapped at me for taking too long to produce my ID, and then snapped at me again for signing his document wrong (I wrote my name so that it would be on the document and then stamped it with my legal stamp). He told me that was ”unnecessary” and sounded very irritated about it. I was tired and disoriented after a 36 hour trip, and he was being impatient and rude. I heard him muttering under his breath about how critical my health condition must have been because I was wearing a mask in the lobby. Truth be told, I was worried about having picked up some ailment spending so much time in a crowded train with people coughing, and even more concerned I could pass it on to unassuming passersby. Furthermore, there were still signs on the doors and floor asking that visitors mask. It only seemed proper that I should oblige. Once he handed me the key card, he all but ordered me to haul all my luggage back outside to my car so that I could park in the back lot. This was so that my car would be closer to my room door, apparently, but it would have been an easier walk at that point to just go to my room from the lobby. I was too travel weary to argue against his blatant derision and quietly apologized and followed his instructions. When I drove my car to the back lot, it was indeed closer to my room, but it was not more conveniently located by any stretch as I was only staying one night. Come morning, I checked out and my options were to haul everything from the counter to the back door again, or leave through the front entrance and walk the entire way around the hotel. Initially, I had assumed all tenants were to park in the back, but my car was the only one there! Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place left something to be desired, as there was black mold growing along the seams of the bathtub. The fact that black mold wasn't the worst of my visit and in fact barely bears mentioning at all is not a good look.
