Best Studio City Hotels

Booked this hotel because it’s very close to Universal Studios. 7 minute walk to the free tram that took us straight to the park. Parking was $32 per day. But honestly you can park across the street for free at the metro parking. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfy. Would stay here again!

Hotel closed to Universal studios, walking around 5 minutes. Great room, clean. The only bad was check in time waiting too long. We were arriving 12 pm and we had to waiting till 4 pm to get our room.

the place is not very big but it has a cozy feeling. the guy at the counter said we could only Park one car for free and a second car was $10. the guy said its cuz the parking lot was full but it was more than half empty

The location is very good, very close to Universal Studios, about 5-10 minutes by car. Many attractions in Los Angeles are near Universal Studios. And this is a motel, parking is free, which is more economical. The sanitation is very clean, and I was surprised that the motel even has bathrobes, which is a nice detail. However, it is not suitable for people who pursue hotel characteristics. The room is not so fancy, suitable for convenience.

The room is clean, the bedding is clean, the toilet has a separate shower room as in China, and the toiletries smell of herbal medicine that stabilizes mood. I am very satisfied with the room. The transportation is convenient. We didn't rent a car. We took the subway to Universal Studios Station and then transferred to the bus for two stops. There is a shuttle bus to Universal Studios and the timetable is posted. The bus leaves as soon as it is full, so if you want to go there, it is best to wait for a table at the door early.

Great location for visiting Universal Studios- 3 min to shuttle stop, also next door to several fast food (subway, pizza, donut, Fatburger) Room is clean and small but provides what is needed for a few nights stay. It is a small motel so the only complaint would be the hearing noise from the outside

Customer service OnPoint checked in, was awesome well sat at the bar ordered the flatbread pizza some drinks tasty to say the least great job great stay great room pool could use a little updating still nice the guy that checked me in. Don’t want to mess up his name, but was nothing less than impressive to say the least, will definitely stay there again. Shuttle ride to the park and back was well received. Thank you for the great stay.

The room looked nothing like the pictures and was old, outdated and dirty and there were two drunk and high guys below us who were yelling all night and got into a fistfight with each other. I couldn’t fall asleep until 4:30am

I stayed at the Colony Inn with my 2 adult daughters for 10 nights whilst one of them attended a dance program in North Hollywood. The location was perfect for our needs - close to the studio and walking distance to public transport and a variety of food vendors. The Hotel is basic but clean and well maintained. A hair dryer and iron were available on request. The room was serviced each day.

Pretty good, very close to Universal Studios, eating is convenient, front desk service is very good. The key is parking is free, just near the high speed, where to go is very close, and there is a Sichuan restaurant nearby is very good. Public comment can be found
