We were concerned when there was no one at the check in desk when we arrived. The sign said that they were working with another customer. After several minutes a young man arrived wearing a baseball cap who checked us in. When we arrived at our room it smelled musty, we sprayed a disinfectant which helped. The room needs to be updated big time. One tv was missing, the bed and pillows were like boards. Worst than all of this was breakfasts the following. There was only one bagel. The cream cheese was in a family stile container which was located in a small refrigerator that was coated with ice inside. Mop board were protruding 2 in from the wall. General the whole property needs a lot attention. Maybe a bulldozer might be best. Country inn and suites are not what they were a few ago.

We booked a group of rooms, about 20 total for a high school cheer competition. With 3 other major events that weekend in the area, and only 2 weeks notice, Tonya went over and beyond with getting the team and chaperones on the same floor, plus parents near by. They allowed us to bring a food truck on site to serve our team- which helped us out tremendously. We arrived early for check in, and Tonya was able to get us arranged with no wait. Lennon at the front desk is our honorary cheerleader! He was so helpful with anything we asked of him, and was extremely polite and social with everyone! Chelsi at the front desk didnt was also very personable and provided smiles all around! Both even helped out the girls by posing for photos with them while on a scavenger hunt! We HIGHLY recommend this hotel and staff for any group travel. There is a large lobby area complete with tables and chairs where you can hang out- and the staff is unbeatable!

1. Rooms stink of smoke. 2. We came unwittingly on a weekend when the hotel was hosting an enormous children’s hockey group. We were warned at check-in that the group was there, that they are there every year, and that they are extremely noisy. The front desk told us that they hired a security guard for the weekend to handle noise complaints. 3. Well, the front desk was certainly right. It was complete mayhem the entire weekend with kids screaming and running through the halls unsupervised all night long while their parents drank and partied. It was essentially a frat party plus kids. On top of all the smell of ********* was rife in the hallways. 4. I am all for kids hockey, all for the group having fun, and freedom. HOWEVER - the hotel has no right to lure unsuspecting guests without warning. They could’ve easily called us in advance to let us know about this and give us the choice to stay somewhere else. 5. I would never stay in this lousy hotel again. They put the Almighty buck of selling one more room ahead of the considerations of their guests and this is a clear violation of their duty as hoteliers.
