As I said in the title, it doesn't get any better than this. As an old guy who has traveled extensively at home and abroad, I know whereof I speak. Is it perfect? Of course not. But to call out those things that could be improved is to be churlish. The staff's attitude and service are the best I have ever experienced. The location is charming and just a very short walking distance from some fabulous restaurants. It sits at the entrance to beautiful Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Quibbles? The rooms could use more hooks for hanging towels and clothing; blackout curtains would be a welcome addition. Don't let these minor matters stop you from staying in a facility that comprises one of the West's most enjoyable lodgings.

We live in the Bay Area and have driven through Saratoga a million times (I even went to pre-school there a million years ago). As we started to ease out of the pandemic (or hopefully ease out) we wanted a 'staycation' so we could pickup wine from a nearby winery without having to drive far, enjoy a neighborhood we don't spend much time in, and visit Hakone gardens. The hotel has recently been updated, and everything was very refreshed. Service was delightful. The hotel was extremely clean. The location - right on the creek - was peaceful and idyllic. The bar was open that evening which was a nice extra, and there was an espresso rickshaw in the parking lot on Sunday morning. We accidentally left an item behind, and they reached out to us to let us know. Another great example of great service. Would cheerfully stay again.

Los Gatos Garden Inn is our go to place for staying in Los Gatos. It is a wonderful boutique motel located in the heart of Downtown Los Gatos. The motel is vintage (1947) and historic. Adding to its charm, Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio stayed in room 34 during their honeymoon in 1954. The rooms are updated and clean, opening to a splendid central courtyard. The staff is very helpful. We checked in long after the office closed and Melissa made sure we got our key. In the morning, when you check out in the friendly office, you get to grab some snacks to go.

Ample parking spaces. The hotel is on the roadside, it is easy to find when you navigate, and there is a triangle sign at the door. We booked a double bed and a suite for 3 nights, the room was not bad, and the hotel environment was okay. There is a safeway supermarket nearby and it is very convenient to buy things, and the whole town has a good environment.

I am in love with this hotel and the staff. I don't know them personally but after staying here a few times I feel the customer service is on point. The breakfast is fabulous. Everyone takes their time to greet you and make you feel comfortable; especially a lady name Regina I believe her name is who always asks how everything is or went. Super fabulous customer service on every end; cleaning staff, kitchen staff, front desk, etc. I am a happy camper!

My husband and I stayed here about 7 years ago and had an excellent experience! we loved this hotel so it we jumped at going back when we had a wedding to go to.....unfortunately this time it was just ok. -The condition of the hotel space & the room room was great but the bathroom was in desperate need of bleach, paint & repairs. I wouldn't let guests use my bathroom if it looked like this!! -The pool was beautiful but there were only 7 lounge chairs. guests had to share chairs or were taking regular chairs off other quests poolside patios. -There is a bar outside where pastime we were here guests could order food and drinks and bring them to the pool. The physical bar is still there with chairs, but it is permanently closed. the hotel restaurant isn't open during the day. Guests were DoorDashing Ford to the pool. -The ”breakfast” is laughable. Still frozen pastries of of a wrapper, Yoplay yogurts, & brown water coffee

This is the best hotel to stay in the whole of South Bay Area including Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto and San Jose. I have been so impressed with the service of all the employees and specifically Madison as she not only helped me at the front desk but I saw that she was prompt to answer my questions and provide appropriate response through the Hilton Honors App too. The Hilton brand experience is also amazing at this place and all the amenities are to the point like Parking, Restaurant, Fitness Centre etc.

I recently stayed because of work and having recently moved to the area was unfamiliar with the Larkspur Landing Franchise. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this location. When I arrived at 3pm to check-in there was of course a long line of people trying to check-in at the sane time. Melissa was working, the lobby was full, she managed to check-in and completely clear out the line in the lobby in less than 15min ALONE, Impressive. The entire staff, extremely friendly, and would greet you with a genuine smile and ask you how your day was going when you walk through the hotel. The rooms are equipped with full size fridge, dishwasher, and the rooms actually have dishes, I have stayed in hotels that had a kitchen but didn’t provide dishes for travelers. Who travels with dishes? The beds are comfortable and there is a large workstation with actual office chairs. I was able to set up my laptop and create a work station which was so helpful to be able to not have to go to a FedEx to do my work. And they provided breakfast for guests, laundry(no charge), the list goes on. This truly is one of the best hotels and I would highly recommend it to those traveling for work and families too. The hotel is quiet at night, not filled with sketchy people, and the parking lot is huge and well lit with cameras. I travel alone and felt totally safe the entire trip. This hotel has fallen in love! Every time you come to San Jose, you must stay here! Very convenient for people who don't drive! Downstairs is the square, there are food and drink around, many selectivity, the key is that the hotel is still very quiet and clean! Great!
