The hotel is fine. The rooms are okay, but old. The televisions do not rotate and can not face the desk or table. The front desk staff are the best part of the hotel. They welcoming, friendly, and very much ready to take care of your needs. They host a reception each night, but now it is limited to 90 minutes starting at 5pm. Therefore, it limits people working a little later like many people do when traveling. You also now need a ticket and limit to small drinks. New rules, less welcoming, and now feels cheap. The bar does not feel welcoming. There are people sitting, but taking up multiple chairs. The bar tenders did not seem welcoming or looking to help. Overall, the hotel is fine, but no longer .y first choice when in the area.
Don’t stay here. We had a horrible experience, and based on everything we’ve seen, you will too. I stayed here for 3 nights with my cousins and boyfriend, as we were in the area to visit Universal Studios and LA in general. Yes, we chose a cheap option. But I never imagined we would get treated so unprofessionally. $404 for 3 nights and 2 queen beds. If I had known what we were getting into, I would have gladly paid another $250 to upgrade to the Marriott for 3 nights. The entire establishment is dirty, dusty, stained, with peeling and cracked paint and wallpaper, stained window curtains, sticky gum on the carpet of our room, stains on the bedding, the shower just entirely lacked the drain cover so you can see straight into clogged, dirty hell. We were here for 3 nights, with 4 guests. We forgot to bring toiletries like shampoo and conditioner and body wash. But the bathroom of our room, there was a sign that said if we forgot any basic toiletries, they would provide them to us free of charge. So we went to the front desk and asked if we could get some toiletries. The young man at the front desk opened his locked window, stared at us, we asked him for the toiletries politely, then he didn’t say a word and scrambled through a box underneath the front desk. He gave us two small, unbranded bottles simply labeled “lotion”. We asked, “is this lotion? Do you have shampoo or conditioner or body wash?” And he said “it says lotion but it’s not lotion.” Looked a little more, and then said “oh, yeah, it’s lotion. I guess that’s all we have”… so we went to Walgreens at like 11pm down the street to buy some travel toiletries. We recognized another guest at Walgreens presumably doing the same thing. The entire exchange was incredibly awkward and unhelpful and just weird. At the end of each day, we would need 4 towels. The second day, we went to the front desk for towels. They said they don’t have towels at the front desk, and that they will send some to our room. At our room, we saw the cleaning staff, so we asked them ourselves. They gave us 4 towels, and asked us to bring our dirty towels out. Didn’t think anything of it. The next night, we called the front desk for four (4) towels to be sent to our room. They said we need to go to the front desk for that. Which is weird because they said the opposite last night, that’s why we called. Anyways we got there and it was the same young man. He saw us, said nothing again, and we asked for 4 towels. He gave us 2 towels and said nothing. We asked “do you have two more towels?” He said, “no, that’s all we have. Didn’t you get your towels replaced?” And we said yes, but that was yesterday and we used those. And he kind of just shrugged and didn’t say anything except going on to confirm if we had received towels already. So we just took the two and went on our day, just planning to share our two towels between two couples. Which we shouldn’t have to do at a hotel lol. I do not understand how a hotel with 50 s
1. The breakfast is delicious and rich, and the coffee you make yourself is delicious!
2. The laundry room is very convenient. There are a lot of machines, suitable for people who are on a road-trip to do laundry in the middle
3. The hotel also has a swimming pool!
4. It's right next to Six Flags. I suffered from heat stroke. I went back to the hotel and took a nap to continue playing. It's only five minutes by car.
5. There is also Walmart McDonald's next to it! is a good neighbor hood
6. The rooms and hotel are very new! The beds are very comfortable! Had a great nights sleep! The kitchen is also huge, as well as the living room!
Very Good

If I have anything that I believe needs improvement, I try to put it first so I can end on a positive note. The snack bar behind the counter at the desk is very limited. I would have liked to have seen milk and a larger selection of snacks. That's pretty much the only thing I would say needs improvement, in my opinion. Now for the the larger issues that I believe are important when choosing a hotel. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and accommodating. They were great! The rooms were clean, modern and the showers had enough pressure that you didn't have to run around in the shower to catch the drops to get wet. It's a quiet area, yet you can see the interstate from the hotel. It's back from the freeway enough that you aren't really aware of how close it is (probably less than a half mile).
Breakfast is good, much better than the average American breakfast, but because there is a service staff, it is necessary to pay a tip. There is a swimming pool but it is small. There is a golf course behind the hotel and the environment is ok. There are a lot of shopping spots around, I didn't go shopping, but it still feels very convenient. Parking is convenient and free, which is good. However, the room was normal, the front desk was a little brother, and there was no baggage, and almost no waiters were seen. On the night of the National Day, the citizens of the United States moved to the small bench to watch the fireworks, occasionally accompanied by cheers, and then the earthquake in the middle of the night, woke me up.
We’re Hilton members as I use to travel a lot for work, and now we mostly just travel for fun as a family. I overall like this chain a lot. Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons of the homewood suites Santa Clarita in my opinion. Rooms: we had the king extra room. Comfortable bed, clean and spacious room, and very quiet (room 305). Huge tv! I recommend asking for foam pillows as the ones provided were flat. Water pressure in the shower is what’s to be expected for a Southern California hotel (pretty weak). They supply shampoo etc in large, multiuse bottles that are positioned too high for kids to reach. AC goes to 68’ lowest and didn’t ever reach that low of a temp due to scorching outdoor temperatures. I wish I knew how to hack the AC to lower the temp to our comfort preference, but oh well. We were comfortable enough. Pool: we came here to use the pool and visit family. There is a pool. It doesn’t seem to be heated. Even in this 100’ weather, the water seemed pretty cold. The local aquatic centers heat their pools better than this hotel. The pool is pretty clean. There’s an awesome bbq area with fire pits and some seating. No hot tub. The view is of the parking lot and surrounding mountains, so kinda pretty, kinda not. Some plants would help block the cars and improve the view. There are no umbrellas or anything to provide shade by the pool. Breakfast: decent options and convenient. It’s a step up from other hotel chains and equivalent to the breakfast at embassy suites, minus the freshly cooked egg station.
It's very close to Six Flags, the hotel is very clean, and it's nice that there are many restaurants nearby that can be ordered through DoorDash! I didn't eat breakfast, but watching people eat it, it looked quite delicious and was being used a lot. (This is a Hook burger delivered through Door Dash.)
Best Western Valencia/Six Flags Inn & Suites Check-in was friendly and efficient. My king room was spacious and I had a comfortable nights sleep without any disturbance from other guests . A selection of coffee was provided. There was a refrigerator and microwave (see picture) but no safe. The bathroom had a shower and bathtub. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and moisturising lotion were provided (small). The shower curtain had a bug (see picture) but I didn't see any further bugs in the room or bathroom. The pool is accessed by the keycard. It was a good size for laps and the hot tub was warm. Pool towels are provided. The gym is quite small (see picture). The water dispenser was not working or any towels available on my visit. Breakfast is served near reception. I did enquire about omelettes but was told they only do scrambled eggs now. They also had small sausages. Fruit available was apples and oranges. Cereals, yogurts and milk were available. There was a self-serve waffle maker and a selection of juices. Tea, coffee and water is outside the breakfast room. I liked the close location to six flags magic mountain however the trolly service stops the beginning of September. An Uber cost me $8-$10 dollars depending on the time of day. You can self-park anywhere near the hotel. There is a Denney's right next to the hotel.
overall good stay, it's a little further from the highway, about ten minutes drive but that ended up being a good thing. asked for upstairs when booking and they gave me an upstairs room. no bad smell when entering the room, pretty clean. their TV box was unplugged and I had to do some troubleshooting to get it to work. no loud neighbors nor make me feel unsafe, nobody smoking outside their rooms, it's next to a 4 lane busy main road but the noise was bearable, very quiet since it's ways away from the 5 highway. good value, might repeat again if coming down this way.
The staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and decor looked new and stylish. My only disappointment was the continental breakfast. If I stay again, I will bring earplugs for the early morning train that runs by the hotel.

Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking was great I always had a place to park all weekend no matter how many times I left and came back. We will be coming back
